hi if u have gprs or any other low speed connection and are sick and tired of low speed then this is what u should do
do the following setting
options preference advancenet.max half open set the value from range
50 to 100 or more default is 8 which restricts speed apply
then click on connection global bandwidth limiting
maximum upload speed set to 1 or less and download speed to 20 or upload speed*20% apply
u'l feel the difference and u get double downloading speed bye
uncheck upnp checking and firewall also if firewall not enable
