Sorry I forget.
Tested FILE SET: The GIMP 1.2.4 for Windows after full installation (127 subfolders, 1304 files totaling 27,128,826 bytes)

I think 7-zip is better than other zip formats.
I use Power archiver it supports 7-zip format.

It gives good results when compressing mutli files.
A clue use solid archive when compressing mutli files.Result is very fine.
