Everything is cool, especially the login function which still stays at the same page without being redirected to login page. I think the comment colours shuld be changed...its hard to see different comments bcos the subject title is the same colour as the comment content

Great work with the new design, but i think you should add in a edit option for posted comments, and there should be emoticons for comments like in MSN, and it is also abit hard to tell one comment from the other because it all blends in.

nice but there are some bugs
1. when comments are growed up in one title on the main page there are no update for number of comments or its reuplouad very slowly!
2.in RSS feeds the address of the file are incorrect because the (/) slashs are not shown
and just a test not a hyper text
3.can we use HTML codes or not ?
4.the nuber of news reads are not shown in main page or anywhere else

- much more accessible, recent news on top
- clean layout
- quote and response buttons make for cleaner comments

Cons:
- page is too wide for smaller windows
- in smaller window, search bar and right nav bar not visible until you scroll right

Notes:
- Logo reminicent of Photoshop CS3?

Overall, excellent job. Much better than the old one.

I got some Suggestions\Bugs ...

I would prefer the Navigation option, along with everything beneath it, to be on the left side of the window, it would kinda look better that way..

A bug I have noticed is at the Messageing tab, its written as Messenge rather than messege...

i have tested the new 9down format using slimbrowser, ie6, netscape813 and opera9 all on windows2000k platform --- all ok , thank 9down

Why do you ask for coments , whats the point ? The only thing you find out by asking that , is asking how many people here have bad taste , and / or are arse lickers . After reading the coments here i think that the most of you would say thank you if someone shit in your mouth . 9down was one of the best laid out web sites i can think of . i was lost at first, expecially i miss the rapid "SEARCH" box on left side that was in the old one.
I also think that when a SEARCH its made it had to look as before and date sorted because now its all mixed and its hard to know what's the the last post!!! Over all GOOD JOB!!!!

cant stand the new layout. it looks pretty.....which would be fine for a girly site but oh well. everything seems backwards too with the info onthe right. at first glance this looks like just another spam site or one of those link sites that really serve no purpose.......which of course 9down definitely does. to me i prefer to work with what works and not change things that dont need to be. i like the old layout.just my 2 sense.

The new look is very nice. But when I search with keyword acddee 9, all stuff from the old acdsee ver 6 to the latest acdsee photo editor 4 are showing up, and not sorted by the release date too. And then I tried to download acdsee 9 build 108, the link is gone, it says "not found that you request." And I suggest the comment subject color to be changed to a more bright color such as orange or yellow. Maybe because 9down change to the new website, there are some problem that has'nt been fix. But outside the bugs, 9down ROCKS!!!

I am starting to notice that a lot of comments are being "removed" or disappearing over the last week. Whats going on??? I have seen other members complaining as well. I go to a page one day and there are 20-30 comments for a product, but when I go back it is down to 3 or 4. Please help me understand what is going on. Some of those comments contained valuable information and links.

This website is now useless because 9down decided to stop posting warez links all of a sudden. Good job guys, deciding to go "saint-like" that's really gonna help you gain more visitors.

The only thing bad with the old site was the rapidshare spammers, someone should have policed the comments and remove them. Or ban rapidshare links altogether.

What a pity ! 9down USED to be one of my favourite sites. Now new look (big deal) no warez. So now we have a site that's all show & no substance! I can get trial,free software ANYWARE.. hell even in a box of cereal just about.. so you guys aren't the real shit anymore. Sorry to say it's off to greener pastures for me.
