My favorite anti-spyware... On every test I've done its gotten more malware then A-Squared, SUPER, Adaware, Spybot and Spyware Terminator.

Avg anti-spyware sucks. Try xoft-se or any paretologic product instead, it's much better than this crap, and lavasoft crap.

Anti malware i know more than you think !!
Kaspercrap is using a lot of computer resources and the scan of disks takes like forever and i decided one day to give a try to Kaspercrap the stable version 621
well i have now one more reason to hate this piece of crap
I had blue screens and when i uninstalled it , all was back to normal and i reinstalled the king NOD32 that won't slow down your comp and it scanned my 120 gigs disk in only 1 hr and a half !! (Kaspercrap after 8 hrs had only 22 % of my disk scanned..lol)
...and that's the bottom line cause boromeo says so !!!

oh and one more thing i read a recent antivrus tests and on some thousands malwares the first AV was Avira antivir at 71 % second was Nod32 at 68% and Kaspercrap ?..9 % only

yea boromeo i saw that one too. one thing to remember there is that Avira's core engine is very old. but its nice to see further proof that NOD32 is legitimate AND that no single program can cover everything.
that being said...a growing number of people out there are using NOD32 + AVG AntiSpyware (formerly ewido) + Agnitum Outpost
oh, and in case anyone was wondering...NOD32 with AVG AntiSpyware uses much less RAM than Kaspersky AV

the key works, but it seems it can not update, no matter directly or using a proxy.
also, i once met that after a restart, avg reports the key is not valid and i retry, it still repots, then, magically, it works again but still can not update.

and i try tor, try different identity, then it works. seems this edition updates much harder then the ealier one?
