hey toufiq47 i dont know what fell on your head but kaspersky or norton is garbage !! I've been using AVG for quite sometime now and it works great

AVG Anti-Virus is a fairly reasonable virus program, true - it is better than Symantec Norton Anti-Virus, but it just can't measure up to Kaspersky. If you use AVG, please use the retail (pay for) version, it is better than the free version - more control.

If you really want on access for free. go to www.avast.com for free antivirus 4.7 is lastest one. it really works I went to bad site and virus show up got rid of it. Now that best virus scanner ever. Plus it usely no little no ram or system hog like notron or mcafee programs.

A hint for those installing Vista.
You must select Use the recomended security and updates option(GREEN ONE) when first doing windows setup.
OR The Antivirus and Malware Protection will not report to Windows that they are up to date and both working.
This is a VISTA FLAW as all AV's are doing this.
