A bit confused here now salmonela. This post by badrix does confirm a link for a 3/11-06 update (trial) for Acronis True Image 9.1 Build 3832 for Workstation, Enterprise server and Server for Windows on there homepage...

Thank you very much - Jamaican - I downloaded the file and extracted it. unfortunately, it would install all but True Image Workstation it generates an error. has anybody had the same problem?

the error is "Failed to Read file "AcronisTrueImageWorkstation.msi". If indeed the file is corrupted somehow. could you please re-upload it

@Tipphono, I finally got what you were saying! OOOOHhhhh?!?!?!?!

I Freaking DID IT!!! A Bare Metal Restore to compleatly different hardware....and although I had many doubts!
it actually WAS as easy as they say it is on the Acronis site. GO figure? Now for those of you who are trying a bare meatal restore and are having trouble like I was here's what I did and it worked 100%

1st- DWNLD & INSTALL b.3832 TI Wksta&Uni Rstr (i think b.3694 was buggy, and the start of my problems)

2nd- CREATE YOUR BACK UP IMAGE VIA THE MEDIA BOOT DISK NOT IN WINDOWS!
Reason: I read somewhere on the Acronis site that it's possible during the back up process within windows certain driver can be locked by the OS and not be backed up OR in my case cause the Restore to fail due to "driver errors".

3rd- Connect the device to the new machine that your full back up was saved to, external drive,internal hd, etc, Boot new machine with media boot disk, click "Recovery" follow the prompts and browse for the ".tib" file. Click next, and follow the rest of the prompts..... and wait, once the process is complete, take out the media boot disc and reboot. That's it! A few driver reinstalls here, and a tweak there, then your back in business, only faster. I do suggest however absolutley validating/ verifying the back up isn't currupt. If not you should be able to restore and boot w/ no problems at all.

Well anyway's that's how I did it today. I hope it helps whoever needs it!

Now I know everybody here wants to be the **Exclusive** supplier but unless you can come up with a better way to distro your full versions (don't we all just LOVE rapid f u c k me im a w h o r e) we'd appreciate the backdoor links direct off Acronis pls. Otherwise just don't bother. Retarded limey jack tars!
