Adobe Flash Player is the high-performance, lightweight, highly expressive client runtime that delivers powerful and consistent user experiences across major operating systems, browsers, mobile phones, and devices.

Adobe Labs features prerelease versions of the Flash Player 9 Update software. The beta is an opportunity for developers and consumers to test and provide early feedback to Adobe on new features, enhancements, and compatibility with previously authored content.

This update, codenamed “Moviestar,” includes new features, enhancements and bug fixes for Windows, Macintosh, and Linux versions of Flash Player 9, including:

* Support for H.264 video and HE-AAC audio codecs (new Aug. 21).
* Multi-core support for vector rendering.
* Full screen mode with hardware scaling.
* Flash Player cache for common platform components, such as the Flex framework.
* Support for Microsoft Active Accessibility (MSAA) in the Windows plug-in.

flash.ocx a nightmare to get this file ever deleted from harddisk. No protect mode or any tools under windows or before windows start are able to delete this file ever. Was have 6 or more across all harddisks. Anyhow uninstall tool doesnt work. Use the MS Windows one what is include, size 813 KB. Other versions are above 1 mb can not more deleted or boot from a recover disk such as hirens boot cd.

regarding the article... it's a nice addition but it's a beta, and most flash betas that I've tested are unstable

Try flash.ocx this new once to remove, delete, hijack it. Did uninstall work by this Version?
Read them developer notes how to remove. Failed by 2 systems here, only using a start boot disc got it ever under.

DLL work but ActiveX plugin like burned onto harddisk. Also protect mode can not remove it from disk. Uninstaller failed, manual instruction from them website as well. 2nd Window install on another hdd same can not remove it. Any solution under Windows???
