Is this a beta? In Agnitum's home page I find only version 3.0.543.431.

I dont think it is a BETA because my outpost updated itself to this version only there was no working key so i'd have to downgrade it to the previous version

Anyone knows a better firewall with small footprint? This "component control" keeps blocking my opera, mldonkey and spyware doctor's live update. I don't want to lose my time fixing up my firewall settings. Something like Zone Alarm but with smaller footprint anyone?
(i have been using zone alarm suite and zone alarm pro;both were a bit hogs. I've heard that zone alarm personal uses much cpu too).
I have used Zone Alarm, Outpost, MacAfee, Norton, and few others. Outpost is fantastic in control, but sometimes blocks some programs silently, and takes time to fix and define everything. Zone Alarm is good, but has same problem and also swallows too much resources, sometimes 30 megabytes of memory. Macafee is spoiled by too much advertisement for other products such as antivirus etc. I finally used Norton Internet Security 2005 Spyware Edition and am quite happy, setup and forget, although a bit high in resources, but excellent control and very powerful. I hope this helps.
Please people, someone has Norton Internet Security 2006? It is lovely piece of thing.

Gorghes why don't you just use an older version? If you go to agnitum's home page you will see that the latest version announced is 3.0(543.431). The one that you are seeking so much could be a beta! Risky thing for a security software. Anyway, it is just a firewall,not antivirus that uses heuristics or something like that. My opinion is that you won't find any difference(it could also be worse if it is beta).
