the best firewall till date with avery decent anti-spyware. the previous versions had some problems but now it seems to be ok. the best firewall for those who search a lot of adult porn sites.

If they have fixed the problem of it blocking Netlimiter 2.0.9.1 silently without any notification, then I would like to move back to it. Otherwise I will have to stay with Zonealarms

this is about the best firewall for my windows 2000 prof ;-))). The recent new fws crash as soon as i reboot/restart/blue screen of death. This one is compatible to my old os and i like it tremendously - in fact better than the old version of zonealarm. thanks to 9down for the heads up-regards/pluto

Please post some opinions ? How you guys compare this with comodo firewall ? Which is one run better and more protections ? also which one run faster ? Zone Alarm pro is good protections but slow down your pc . Thank

I prefer Outpost from Comodo firewall and I prefer Comodo from ZoneAlarm firewall
But Comodo is free. You have to pay for ZoneAlarm Pro and Outpost Pro.
Both ZoneAlarm Pro and Outpost Pro are more powerful from Comodo firewall.
Outpost Pro is faster from ZoneAlarm Pro, and both are the best firewall solutions that currently are available.

Be aware that this version cant hook OLE , so you will fail to pass OSfwbypass and PCflank leaktests and pretty much all intercommunications which use OLE technology. You will be prompted by Outpost with pop up but after clicking at block or block at once , intercommunication with OLE will proceed. After this findings Agnitum decided to proclaim this version to BETA.
So , Fck Agnitum and their cocksucking Betatesters.

Yes , This version still have problems freeze . Can not work with spysweeper ???? I think i have to go back Comodo Firewalls . Any opinions ??? Thanks

I must say that I hate everything which surrounding Outpost including Agnitum and Outpost fans (admins , testers , mods etc. at users forum).
But program itself is of highest quality and I like it very much. I recommend to use latest "stable" version 4.0. 1007... (...coz above problems)

Dammit... This version has several serious problems It will freeze my system while i am inserting usb storage such as external hd and flash drive and then takes around 10l seconds to recovery.
You will find the Event ID 11 http://www.eventid.net/display.asp?eventid=111&eventno=788&source=Removable%20Storage%20Service&phase=1 in your Event Viewer.
Also this version freeze my system while i am starting to use the CD/DVD-ROM and checking the status of Disk Manager and Removable Storage.
Back to previous edition and try to find the replacement. ^_^
