Yes you are right: This is the big Question about this version  7.0.1.4? I would to have an answer too for this. Can anybody help us? I can not download the file. Too much traffic i think.

too garbage!!! I think V6 is much better. Now nero V7 just follows easy cd creator, add too much un-professional and un-useful features. for nero, I only use the buring rom, which is the core, so I would rather stick with V6.

What can you do with v7.x that you can't with v6.0.0.18??? Basically, why use v7.x?

don't bother downloading it, there will be a nother 100MB version in a week. there always is. nero 7 is such a waste of bandwidth. Does anybody actually use the crap that comes with it??? I only use the v6 burning engine and tools.

7.0.1.4 is been broken for Canadian users.  Error box pops up: Could not find lngID 4105.

Language type 4105 of course is ENGLISH (Canada).  Thinking I had a problem with my machine, I uninstalled and cleared the registry and tried installing 7.0.1.2 ... no problems at all.  Uninstall and clear registry again... attempt installing 7.0.1.4 ... same error.

Ok... so I tried changing my language and regional setting to ENGLISH (US). Re-booted.  Tried installing again... same error.  Somehow it still knows I'm in Canada and won't install.

Even with the error that is is giving you because of the Canadian english it will install, i did it on 2 machines both with Canadian english as primary. So I think you have something eles wrong besides that my friend.

Best burning software is Ashampoo Burning Studio 5 only 6.5Mb. Doing everything you need from burner.

all the keys dont work.. none of them.. someone needs to post a fix... this is getting out of hand how many fakes are out..

Just in case anyone  browses through these statements the way I do:  Nero is for the power user.  There's a lot in there including software for changing formats in the NVE3.  There's software for recording on the fly as well as from hard drive files.  Doing plain DVD Copy sends one to the Burning ROM or Express.  Copy Entire DVD Video opens Recode, with that and a driver decrypter like AnyDVD, recording a DVD Video on the fly is easy.  Expand the Startsmart window and open the different apps manually without clicking icons.  There's also tools and utilities.  Apps for programs like Sonic are intended to be more user friendly, though they don't have the resources included with the Nero app. 

Nero is too big, to that all I can say is get a single function app for each task you want to do.  Nero is the big recording suite and it's handy to have all the recording needs in one package.  As mentioned, the app is for power users, not just the occasional guy who wants to burn a music CD or copy a file.  Nero does that and a lot more with ease. 

A single language version is much smaller than the all language version.  English is included in all versions.  So, English speaking users can pick up any version and use it.  Currently the demo is being downloaded from the Nero site, so no need to mess with al the ftp sites and whatever.  Just go to the site and download what you need.  They even have user manuals.  Manuals aren't included in the Nero 7 demo. 

Nero comes out with a new demo version about once a month, about how often one has to reload the demo.  So far no limit on the times demos can be used.  Keys are needed to keep the app from timing out.   If the downloads aren't updated, then you miss updates and any bug fixes.  So that occasional download is still necessary. 

I am having problems with the nero /WMP plugin, it complains i need to be an administrator to use the Nero fast CD burning plugin. AMyone else getting this problem??

Any chance posting that mp3 pro dll link for nero 6? The rapidshare one seems to be faulty and gives a corrupt rar file whwen downloading. thanks guys!
