Alcohol 120% lets you backup your original game cds/dvds even if they are protected.

If you got rid of all the dross and spammers this might be a decent place. Why do they bother?

How does this compare to other progs, like Clone, DVDFab etc.?

Uncompatible with Windows 7, caused by SPTD driver - the author won't make a version for a beta/rc version of OS.

I agree. It's really hard to get a proper answer. Alcohol is totally different from those programs. It's very useful for making images, as well as for burning your images. I use it all the time for burning images. I hope this answers some of your questions.

Thanks everyone for the feedback, it was useful. A pity the site does not start an "advertising" section for all the ***s here. Maybe that way we could get space for proper info about the progs.

INSTALL:
1. Install programm
2. Don’t run it
3. In (C:\Program Files\Alcohol Soft\Alcohol 120\) rename file “alcohol.exe” to “alcohol__.exe”
4. Copy loader file “alcohol.exe” into “install dir”
5. Enjoy!
