This is an excellent program far as I can see, it found 9 spyware problems, and I have re-started this pc, now things are working properly, thanks, again!!!!
Sorry all you anti-Microsoft people should really think again!!
This is excellent, I tried to solve my problems for about 4 weeks )mis-directed home page and lots of other problems), this program fixed everything in 5 minutes... beautiful!

No McAfee isn't better, it hasn't found ANY problems at all (although I knew I had many)! The MIcrosoft Beta found them, I tried about 10 different spyware removal programs, Nothing found what the Microsoft Beta did, I have never been a big fan of Microsoft, but sorry, they have a good thing going here, no mistake about it!

Well I don't see anything wrong with the owners of the software installing Adware. Advertising is what helps pay him a wage for his labor and any legal defense he needs.
My hat is off to these people.
Just home that more people with some genius would come out of the wood work and really put their collective minds together.
Torrenting for life..
Seeding for a while.

I've got nothing major against MS products eventhough i know Bill Gates is a proven liar.I use their stuff but by the same token dont trust them.
As for anti-spyware i use Webroot Spy Sweeper and have found it to be pretty good.
I'll test this program but thats all it'll be,a test......after i'll uninstall.

Any PC that connects to the internet no matter what OS they are running whether it be Microsuck or Linux or what ever. Soon as you make a conection and open the port you are vunerable to attack regardles to anything else you may think.
Microsuck are the biggest so every one picks on them.Just imagine the amount of hacker crap that they have to put up with.I think if the others where put to the test as often as Microsuck are they would probabally do just as bad or worse.

I think it is absolute bs that ppl only start noticing this product as soon as Microsoft buys Giant Company. I have used this product for over a year now, well when it was Giant AntiSpyware. Microsoft haven't changed the product, you would think the lazy buggers would make their own Spyware product....

Re: Correction to above post by Shao on 2005-01-10 22:24:38
Just a correction to your misspelling ;P
Should say:
Microsuck or Linsux ;)
Otherwise I totally agree with above post.
I want ot emphasise thought that eventhough you do keep an open port/ports, if you know which apps that use them and know if they have vulnerabilities + knowing how to restrict access to the app and access to the internet with filtering, then you CAN keep a totally safe system. Lots of knowledge, research, and donfiguration, but it IS possible. You should also study hackers own sites for info on which vulnerabilities that have been discovered.
Of course this is not applicable to the everyday user or even the semi advanced user so above statement that if a port is open you are vulnerable aplies to over 99% of the cases.
P.S. I see they now demand registration to post here. Bad thing = no anonymity (kind of). Good thing, less lame childish comments :)
