AnyDVD works in the background to automatically remove the copy protection of a DVD movie as soon as it's inserted into the drive, allowing you then to backup the movie using a DVD backup tool such as CloneDVD and CloneDVD mobile. Hawks's "updated patch" did not work for me here. It's still says Trial Period Expired!

Ok, I figured out what's going on. The patch & program combination that clown & warez_upload put together work. However if you download the setup file from slysoft, it's a newer build. The author created a newer build to foul up the patchers.

Hawk-Snd updated (fixed) patch no longer works. The author has a newer build on slysoft's site that will not work with the patch. If you were luck enough to grab the setyp file from slysoft earlier on, the patch work on that version.
Also, Resin8's patch didn't work for 6.0.5.0 either.

It doesn't work anymore, please download current AnyDVD from slysoft, and give it a try. The earlier build of 6.0.5.0 it works fine.

Da_Clown, I uninstalled AnyDVD & blew away the anydvd folder. Now it worked!
I had to ubinstall, and delete the installation folder c:\Program Files\Slysoft\AnyDVD

I believe that Marcus is just busy. He hasn't been around the SnD forums for a while.
Resin's patches has always worked for me. I really appreciate him posting his patches her. But since you're a Windows 2000 user, you might have a point KeyDown. Hopefully Resin will adapt his future patches so that they will work with you're configuration too.

His patches have alwways worked for me in the past, regardless of the operating system.
But it appears that his last three releases assume that everyone installs AnyDVD in C:Program FilesAnyDVD. All my programs are installed on a different partition so the patch complains that it cannot find the file.
Another observation is that in Windows 2000 the patch identifies AnyDialog.dll as the file that it cannot find. This is obviously the wrong file. The same problem occurs with Windows XP. It complains that it cannot find the file but in XP it seeks AnyDVD.exe instead.
My collegue also has the same problems.
I had to use the SnD patch instead, which works flawlessly.
It's a shame, because the rESin8 patch have always worked for me.

Why are some of you still talking shite and arguing, the damn CLOWN patch works 100% if you uninstall old app aswell as choose NO to keeping old reg entries as it will ask you, then delete anydvd folder from C drive and install new app and then patch, I didnt even bother to reboot PC uninstalling or installing, this was all on Zero day, so why you are still here arguing days later I dont **[ 9down.com refused this word ]**ing know.

Does anyone notice the read time with clonedvd2 to be much longer than normal?
Seems as if with this 2.9.0.1 and new 6.0.5.0. release, my read & burn time is pushing an hour v.s. 25 minutes with a 16x burner...
These aren't really the types of programs that you want to have to go back to older versions...
Just wonderin' if it's my system or something else...

Hi guys!this is my first comment ever on this site, although I have been using it in order 2 find some answers, and always got the best advices, links, information. tks again Actually, I need some assistance here: I'm using AnyDVD 6050 and Clone DVD 2901 and it's working gr8, apart from the fact that I tried to make the AnyDVD produce semitransparentsubtitles and in some copies, when subtitles show up, the screen turns green... If subtitles R not active, nothing happens, all goes super-fine! But with some DVD's, 2 activate subtitles means: green screen whenever subtitles show on the screen... Any advice, sugestions, coments?
