Unless I'm doing something wrong, the patched .exe doesn't work. I installed, rebooted and overwrote file. Any DVD appeared to work untill I set my date ahead to 1/31 and rebooted. Now says trial has expired.

it is still called the xmas one because this build of my AIO uses a different banner to the normal green one, and as a short time thing only for the holiday period all the apps will install with NO user intervention, already registered to the CEO ..... previous AIO's of mine gave you the choice of user name, this i will go back to, probably after this one, and i will use the original file version naming system i had.

As for xmas being old, well if you bothered to download this latest one, you will find that it has the "happy new year" banner as the image ... now stop whining

only thing that will trip you up with doing that is if the original error is on my part and in the scripting in the AIO, as that cant be read from the temp files as far as i know.

Remove copy protection? I always take the movies from videothek rented. But till now all latest top10 Hit movies was work with DVDFab and co. I wanted to get them as Divx better xvid hardware compatible DVD-xvid player i have enough. What software do i need cause the newer versions of DVD Fab using generic mode to rip DVD to xvid output in the right settings set to max quality on the space of destination (CD-R) Framerate etc... compatible produce only non standard playable PC xvid since version 3.0.0 have they change the xvid codex?
The hardware i don't have such country locks inside.

Latest LG DVD XVID DIVX Manufacture date November 2006 (without country code check) support xvid divx 3, 4, 5, ... any any other when buy online its save the unlock code to play inside the player maybe any MP4 codex.
Thats why I don't see any use of it. XVID on normal CD-R get up to 90% Quality as DVD.

Thats the biggest problem cause the good program DVDFab don't produce anymore Hardware player XVID output compatible films.

Now since that needs to put the notebook to the big tv screen as all hardware xvid - dvd player fails to play. But what about the Car TV and portable once the notebook is a big device. Is it possible to connect a device with RCA etc. without VGA connector to a VGA screen (RCA or optical out to VGA Monitor connector signal in)???

its for looking movie on computer only, now I got it. Hope computer get small as a portable dvd player or in size of a car radio with DVD/XVID soon to use the old/new possibility and play xvid, mp4 from CD-R

@RE-CON: I have one Phillips DVP642K and one 5100K modded, which is the best divx/xvid player I ever seen.
It isn't able to run MP4 files (I think) but it isn't a problem for me since I don't use this extension.
But, anyway, what's your LG Player model? I'd like to check this out!!

@RE-CON: I prefer burning 5 or 6 movies on one single DVD instead of using CD-R.
First, 1 DVD is cheaper than 6 CD-R.
Second, the read/seek time on the player is a lot better when you use DVD media.
Finally, when the movie is longer than 1h 40m I prefer ripping it for one 1400MB file or anything bigger than 700MB. This way I always keep the video and audio quality.

I did buy LG DK142(AA4TLL) from Indonesia Import here about 40 EUR. Akira MC-1280DVD myakira.com Singapore don't give the specifications online but China have. WMA MP4 DIVX XVID DVD. The Akira Firmware seems to be simular with FANTASIA and co. not sure if can older simular Player mod the newer firmware. The tools for the Logo of Manufactor I found some hidden codes to access the special menus still work.

Now i found the codes 4u player:
For those of you who want to make the unit region-free, perform the following:

1) Press the open/close button to *open* the tray
2) On your remote, press: 7 8 9
3) On your remote, press: OK
4) On your remote, press: 0

This should do the trick, please reply back with success/failure stories.

Be careful with flashing firmware. I was once need to do the chip out and put in Eprommer device to recover it. It's always good to have a Eprommer with some adapters same as by Mainboards if Bios or firmware changes goes wrong. Anyway can edit the region section complete 0, Macrovision off, etc.. There are newer firmwares for philips as on softpedia

@RE-CON: All my players are modded (DVP642K and 5100K). I already have the best firmwares available installed...
I was wrong! Both 642K and 5100K are actually able to reproduce MP4 files!!
So, I think I'll take a little longer to buy a new DivX/XViD player... :D

yes it did for me, havent run full tests on it, but patching, then running + opening settings etc all worked ok, rebooted manually and still all good, seems ok. only thing i havent had time to do is rip a movie, but i have no doubt MaRKuS has also tested it

@RE-CON: I don't put any menu on my DVDs cause I burn them as Data DVDs, not DVD-Video. This way I don't need to use dual layer as it fits perfectly on 4483MB medias.

Use shrinks options get to know them u will love it.

Here only 4.7 GB DVD-R available and 700 MB CD-R bigger size is not on the market. Thats the problem. Shrink DVD i don't know I copy the movies for my wife. I did look to the 4 in one and 6 in one dvd movies its dual layer cause size ~8Gig. How to burn 4 or 5 movies on one of this DVD-R? If I select DataCD will this play on the Hardware players other than computer drives? I only did rip to dvix, xvid one movie to CD-R till now but if there is a way to put more movies on one DVD-R cutting trailer and unneeded things that will be fine. I have not much experience with movies. How can I put 3-5 movies on DVD-R 4.7 cutting trailers, not needed languages? Will the players recognize that the DVD is this medium if I burn it as data DVD?

Something wrong with Slysoft! I try to make copy from DVD of Monster House (it is Sony Pictures movie) with newest CloneDVD and of course AnyDVD in the background, but copying unsuccessful!!!
Before there was no any problem with copying of copy protected Sony Pictures movies! Maybe Monster House DVD including a harder copy protection.
Come on Slysoft, make a new release! Sony getting better... :-)
