oh brother, another update ...i guess sony have been busy again with the protection updates !! ... that is one of the things that cause the need to constantly update, as potection chages (mainly sony) slysoft needs to keep their product moving forwards as well, if they didnt stay on top of it, it would not cover half the range of protection methods it does, and would be no good to you !

rESin i am sure will be working on this when he gets time (everyone is busier this time of year remember :P) slysoft are getting wise to the methods used to bypass its security, and as this happens then it can become harder, therefore take a little longer to sort it out.

SlySoft defeated Again!!!!!

i installed 6097 and key.  Everything works great on two of my computers but on my third computer i cant get anydvd to work.  It says my trial has expired.  I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, and cleaning my reg.   Please help.

Hehe I use key to and it work.

1. Use Leftover killer or not.
2. Install 6.0.9.7 and reboot.
3. Disable automatically check for updates, trial popup, exit the program, use key and reboot.
4 Done

Loader sucks use a valid key the one posted.

It is the individuals choice to use a key, loader, patch, etc. No one is putting a gun to anyone's head. Your choice and your decission! As far as bugs in 6097, I haven't had no problems at all with backing up any dvd so far! Now keep in mind that Slysoft will have to come out with an update for any sony picture dvd that comes out because of newer protections on it.

Bottom line, it's your choice!!!!

Had to run the anydvd leftover killer zreglib.killer.exe to get anydvd 6.0.9.7 to work with patch 1.40. But working sweet now, ripping Talladega Nights as this is being posted. So correct order is:
1) uninstall old version
2) run leftover killer (thanks Dr. PC Putte!)
3) install new version, don't reboot
4) run patch 1.40 (thanks Markus!)
5) reboot
Don't know if you need to disable "automatically check for new versions", but I did for good measure. Ripping fine!

I have tried the new version of AnyDVD 6.0.9.8 with the SlySoft 1.40 Patch and it works perfectly. I have discovered that in trial mode, It does not save the configuration. They have changed the position of keys in the registry but I have discovered where they have moved it:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SlySoft\AnyDVD\Settings]

If you changing to this key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SlySoft\AnyDVD\Settings]
"CheckUpdate"=dword:00000000
the checkupdate it always remains disable, the modifications remain in memory in trial version always.
