and also, is it really the torrent software you use that affects your download speed? Or it just the torrent?

The download speed is determined by the torrent (number of seeds and peers that you are able to connect to). So most torrent clients are pretty much equal as far as download speed goes. However you will find that uTorrent uses much less memory and cpu resources than BitComet to do the same things. Either program will work fine, but uTorrent is smaller and more efficient with system resources than BitComet.

Bitcomet 0.85 is terrible.
I cannot even connect to any seed.
When i changed back to use 0.70, everything goes well.
What is wrong with Bitcomet Developing group ?
Bitcomet is gradually becoming the Anti-P2P software.
