CPUBENCH calculates the speed of the CPU by performing 12 tests, a diversity of
floating-point and integer calculations:
MFLOPS, MIPS, PI, Lorenz, Dhrystone, Whetstone etc., etc.
Many of these tests originate from old and more recent benchmark tests that were
designed for supercomputers and mini`s. Some are well-known , some are unknown.

To compensate for limitations of each individual benchmark, an overall score
is calculated.
This overall score was not intended to be a benchmark number but it can be used
as such.
