ClamWin is a Free Antivirus for Microsoft Windows 98/Me/2000/XP/2003. It provides a graphical user interface to the Clam AntiVirus engine. i used clamwin on Win Xp, with the spyware terminator, this 2 software can merge each other, they're very good....you should try it....it's compatible with win Vista too....it's a superb choice to protect your sistem....and guess what !? TOTALY FREE !!!!
i agree with magnum on this ;-) for the past 2 days, i have been "tweaking" clamwin with spywareterminator at their options >>include lists>>exe,com,dll,ht",js,.... and viola the scanning/realtime monitor is blinding ;-) === nevertheless, it is NOT a full antivirus beavyweight like k, a* BUT IT DOES GET THE JOBS OF KEEPING THE NINJAS AT BAY. THAT IS IMPORTANT REALTIME ;-))

ClamWin isn't a good anti-virus software to protect computers (At least of a big infection). I recommend one of those: BitDefender IS, F-secure IS, Kaspersky IS. If you already have OS & FireWall protection I recommend nod32.

AVS don't have the same detection rate as Kaspersky. Kaspersky got ProActive defender wich is the best protection against new malware.
I am only talking about the Antivirus.AVS and Kaspersky are the SAME.

i cant remember but i thought i seen this on my suse 10 dvd ?
for windows i have kaspersky installed but i dont really ever even turn it on lol and i sure as hell aint installing any UltraMegaSuperPowerProDeluxeUberLeet Spyware app either LOL
There is absolutley no substitute for using common sense ..there is no cure/patch or AV for human stupidity Dont download stupid crap and download go to lame websites problem solved
I have trained many pc noobs over the yrs and i am proud watching them with clean pc's a yr or two later with almost no security.. YOU are the best defense not (insert name) Security App
