You're suppose to replace the .sim file in the installation folder with the one downloaded from rapidshare. When I run PowerDVD 8 beta, it still asks for the serial. :(
How is a .sim file going to do anything. Its an image file.

keygen.
install powerdvd8 beta.
never uninstall previous 7.3 ultra.
copy powerdvd.sim file from power dvd 7.3 directory and rename it powerdvd8.sim and paste it to power dvd 8 directory.

Just Install power dvd 7.0 or any version of 7 ultra and register with
keygen.
install powerdvd8 beta.
Don't uninstall previous 7.
