I have had 7.3ULTRA for ages also the patch 605n from cyberlink upgrades it to 7.3.2723.0

Cyberlink emailed me about the patch that was before this new one just released wich was 7.3 in splash screen.

Now the new installer 2911 is really 7.3.2830.0 in the about screen or its Exe. in Program Files is called 7.3.2911.0 and just Ultra in the splash screen.

The Big Hint when i click on link at cyberlink: If the build number of your current PowerDVD Ultra is smaller then 2605, Please check the link to update your PowerDVD Ultra to build 2605.Cyberlink can check you're version.
They now say i have the current BD/HD Edition.

Note:
Please check PowerDVD build number before you install this patch. This patch can only be installed on PowerDVD Ultra build 2605.

actually I have tried the latest patch and I can't even get it to play a dvd or file, it just locks :(

It is a problem on you're configuration only then both my old and new pc do ok with it. Maybe just treat you're self to a new burner for starters.

In my Win-Explorer the PowerDVD.exe has build 2602 (in the status bar) even after patching.The Screen from PowerDVD (the red one, in my case with 22 Logos) says v7.3.In the about-Screen of PowerDVD the SR-Number is DVD070424-02 and its called PowerDVD 7.3(Ultra).
Is that correct or do i have to reinstall or something?

My exe in C:\Program Files\CyberLink\PowerDVD said 7.0.2606.0 before i patched.
After patching says 7.3.2723.0.

I think my Version was 7.3.2605.0 but i patched it anyway with Great results so far.

After extecting the installer with Rar.The original installer info. says Ver=7.3.2605.0...

I used that Ultra-Installer (Size: 88,3MB or 90514KB) an then the patch from Cyberlink (2911, Size: 78,1MB or 79999KB).The result is as i said above...

Meanwhile i've reinstalled PowerDVD with the same files...but now PowerDVD says v7.2 Ultra in the about-Screen...now i'm confused...

Now i've taken a closer look on the about-Screen.I started PowerDVD,then i made a right-click to open the dialog-box, clicking "about" there.The following screnn displays the PowerDVD-Version with SR-Number (DVD070424-02) to the right - and there it's schowing V7.2 Ultra! But after clicking my name, more details are shown - "DVD Version" shows 7.3.2605 (after patching). Seems to be a problem that i've not mentioned yet...

Patch seems to be for Version 7.3 Ultradeluxe. So other patches are confusing people. I found this as pronounciation on other side (soft.......lt). So whats up and whats real ???

All this messages on PowerDVD are now bullshiten me. Off the topic: Leave my old version installed and dont patch it. so doesnot matter. Stays 702211 or what and leave it now.

The PowerDVD Version posted by "albert009" in combination with the official patch made it...i think the Version from "olin666" should be the same 'cause size is identical...to "hangedsaddam":
of course it is every's users own decision to keep the used software up to date,i'm one of them.So don't worry about that.My Version is now really up to date,even the exe...

The new patch doesn't have the "Dual display mode" any more. Goto Configuration -> Video -> Advanced and you will see that the "dual display mode" is not there anymore. I like the option "Full Screen on secondary device (using overlay mode" which allows you to watch TV while using the computer independently. Any expert out there please explain why the new patch does not have this option any more. Thank you
