DivX 6 is available through two new product bundles: the DivX 6 Play Bundle and the DivX 6 Create Bundle. The DivX 6 Play Bundle contains everything you need to playback all types of DivX video, including the new DivX Media Format. The DivX 6 Create Bundle contains the DivX codec and DivX Converter enabling easy creation of DivX media.
Changes in DivX Codec 6.2.1 :
• New : - Improved B-frame decision. - Improved rate control for very high bitrates. - Improved Japanese encoder translations. • Fixed : - Fixed a problem where some systems would crash as the Psychovisual Enhancement method was modified in the encoder configuration window. - Fixed a problem that caused cropping to reduce performance. - Fixed an issue where adjusting the VBV_bitrate slider in the Feedback Window would reset the VBV buffer occupancy. - Fixed a problem where the decoder would fail if both smooth playback and YUV output were enabled in the Decoder Configuration Utility. - Fixed a post-processing issue in the decoder for multi-threaded systems. - Fixed a handle leak in the decoder.
Changes in DivX Converter 6.2.1 :
• Fixed : - Movies can now be saved to any user-specified folder, including those with unusual permissions, such as the "My DocumentsMy Videos" folder

This is still a beta( 1 or 2) as it is not up ontheir site. 6.2 is stil being tested by the community hence this release is a community one which needs registering to test its pro features unlike the pro trial for 6 months, but a stable beta so you can use with ease- if you like an adware one. I made the mistake of downloading it from another site and it installs the Google desktop despite my unticking it!
No, no is a beta. Is the same link obtained when you download the trial in the Divx site, but the information data about it not is all updated in the official site and only this.
Exactly the versions contained in this packet are: DivX Codec 6.2.1 DivX Player 6.2.0 DivX Converter 6.1.1.
And you are able to not install the google toolbar, boy...

The google did install despite not being ticked and after running a scan- Spybot and Spysweeper- traces were in the registry of my PC.

It is not beta. Only codec is updated to 6.2.1. Go to official site and download "6.2" and you will see this.
