I need key too. Dont tell me about local store cause even the capital city do not have any Software Store from oversee in Banjul. Maybe flying by air to Senegal will have a MS store but 150 usa dollar impossible thats 3 months salery for the most worker here. Maybe 150 Dallasi can match. This directx package....improves only the games based on this tecnology........or improves windows xp in general ? i run my games in OpenGl....will change anything if i install directx here?

WARNING!!! Gamers shouldn't install this if they want to run OGL games too!
After applying this update on two different machines (one with ATi X1300, the other with GeForce6600GT, both WInXP SP2 32bit), the frame rate significantly decreased in all my OpenGL games - Doom3, Quake3, Lock-On, Forgotten Battles...
It seems that Micro is very Soft with D3D and is getting harder and harder with OGL.
Anybody can recommend good utility for uninstalling/reinstalling the DX9c? I would like to switch to "good old" April release, without reinstalling Windows, of course.

I've install this version of directx and i can't play any game from then all games giving me a directx error if anyone knows how to roll back to my old version or fix this plz let me know

If you are not running "restore", then it'll be a problem. If you do run it, just switch back to the point right before the inatallation of the DX9c October.
