Can any one post a link to DOpusInstall.exe file released at 21/10/2006. A new file has been released today 25/10/2006 and has a diferent MD5 signature, and probably the PH patch will not work.
Thanks in advance.

rEApEAt my friend, did you ever try Total Commander? It does not have that file name clicking problem.
It was better on the Amiga version- You cant multitask much less do real-time with this pos.It is a pos compared to the amiga version.Plus the amiga version is much smaller.

geekmaster my friend,
in the old times of MS-DOS I was using dirmagic (with colours and my name in it, hehe), and under Windows 3.11 I was using XTGold. I know that TC is pretty good, and I've downloaded it with the nice Czech keyfile, but I cannot adapt myself anymore to that "look and feel". Almost ten years of PowerDesk... Anyway, thank you very much!

Thank you, marscape. This option should be on by default.
As I said, with PowerDesk I can drag and drop items to launchbar (which I use heavily). But this Directory Opus will be a very nice option indeed. Thanks 9down.
By default, this option is on in Power Mode and off in Details Mode.

You're welcome, Drooper.
Snozzz, try the PH patch first, it is a very persistent one.

Snozzz, you're right: both installer files have the same size, but new MD5 signature is: cfc02bcb0fef3c5385c1315abd9477cf
So I run FC on the executables (dopus.exe), and they're different too. It seems that they've silently corrected some bug late at night and silently uploaded the new silent build. =)
The patch is still working. \o/

I was quite happy with Total Commander until I realized that sometimes, if I use cut/paste or rename/remove, files are not copied-removed like they should be but end up with "0" (zero) value instead, which practically means "deleted". Lol, yeah, but the other day I was more inclined to crying.

You see, marscape? So many options! But I've installed DO at work and I will learn how to use it. File/directory selection in Power Mode is very nice.
As far as I see, PowerDesk development has stopped, and someday I'll have to switch to another file manager: and DO is the best candidate I've seen.

Incredible. I try to recover from a older Ghost image (1 month ago). Also I disconnect Internet/Phone cable and I set system date to 15 september 2006.
Also I created a recovery point in Windows System Restore, I backup the registry, I copied Opus program folder in a other location.
Opus works very well, but when I rebooted the system, It doesn't work anymore!
I recover the system by Windows System Restore, I recover files and registry from a backup, but program doesn't start!
How is it possible??
The only way to do Opus working is recovering by Ghost image, but when I reboot it's ruined.
Anyone have an idea??
