I TOTALLY CONFIRM THAT CRACK WORKS. TRIED UNDER WINDOWS XP. ACTIVATION LIKE NEVER SEEN.

You have to follow the instructions in the readme.

Basically, you put some cracked files in the Program File directory then activate it with a provided keygen!!!

Unzip, unrar and install. Press cancel when the expiring message pops up.
After install, stop diskeeper service (with Task Manager - DkService.exe) and copy files
from Patch.zip into installation directory (default is �C:\Program Files\Diskeeper Corporation\Diskeeper\�).
Run keymaker (under Vista, YOU HAVE to right click and run it as Administrator) and press Generate Key.
Start diskeeper service (XP USERS: Start - Run - Type in: Services.msc and press enter/OK. VISTA USERS: Start - Type in searchbox: Services.msc and run it.), press cancel when the
expiring message pops up, run application, in the menus (Action) you will find an option to enter license key, enter the previously generated key.
Then press Generate Code, copy code into application and restart.

Guys,seems like a lot of unnecessary work.I left my old Pro Premier v 770 in place and simply installed this new v 781 over it.It automatically uninstalled the old v 770 and installed this new one with no further action on my part on both my laptop and desktop computers about a week ago.They both work fine.

If your version wasn't cracked, you'll get a get surprise in 30 days. And when you update, Diskeeper updates all the files and dll so if you had it cracked, it won't work after 30 days.

You go under Actions then click on Enter licence code. After you entered it and have the generated code, you activate Diskeeper "from another computer" and you enter the generated code.

Did you turned off the service? Seems to me you didn't follow all the steps.

Easy way to activate diskeeper is like this.
Note This is after you apply the patch and move the keygen to the folder...

1) Browse to the diskeeper install folder
C:\Program Files\Diskeeper Corporation\Diskeeper

2) Double click the "DkActivationReminder" icon
The activate window will pop up on the taskbar.

3) Click the activate diskeeper manually, click start open the keygen select whatever Diskeeper you have hit generate key, then genrate code.

4) Take that code that generated and paste it into the diskeeper activation code box. Don't worry about the key part only the bottom part.

5) Hit apply and you should see activated and diskeeper will restart.

I changed the date on my computer's clock two months ahead to 16 Jun 08 and checked my Diskeeper v 781. It was ok and defragged perfectly on both of my computers,both running XP Pro.

Any of you guys had this problem that as long as dkservice.exe is running, the free space on the windows partition is shrinking for no apparent reason?
A reboot fixes that, for about two days until the space runs out again...
The os is XP Pro btw.

You must choose MANUAL activation.

Your Unistaller 2008 can't remove activation information.

Extract patch.rar. Copy DkTabProvider.dll, tab.dat, and Tab.dll to C:\Program Files\Diskeeper Corporation\Diskeeper. Click Action and Enter registration key from keygen. Then click manual activation. Don't need to enter activation code just generate code and click activate.

It will say it is activate. But here is the problem which I cannot solve: everything I restarted, the program is no longer activated.

The Keygen crashes in Vista when you activate, keygen works fine.

Do you have to be in the activation window of Diskeeper then click activate? Either way it fails.

Hi. I�ve installed this version in two PCs. The first one had no problems, it�s working ok. But the second one fails during activation. I�ve installed the patches after stopping dkservice.exe, but I cannot activate it. Everytime I uninstall and reinstall, I see the same activation string (maybe a trash of a previous installation), so I think that is the main reason for this failure. I cannot find that string anywhere (windows registry, etc.). Any ideas on how to remove COMPLETELY this software to try again? Any other idea? I�ve used your uninstaller 2008, but it was useless, same result. Any way to fully remove old activation code? T.I.A.

Install Notes:

After install, stop diskeeper service(go to Control panel\Administrative Tools\Services) and copy files from Patch.zip(the dll files) into destination directory. Run keymaker (under Vista, YOU HAVE to right click and run it as Administrator) and press Generate Key.
Start diskeeper service(From control panel Admin services), press cancel when the expiring message pops up, run application, in the menus you will find an option to enter license key(In Menu Action),enter the previously generated key.
Then press Generate Code, copy code into application(after Activating choose manual and copy the long letters to the second empty box)
and restart.

What has happened with Boot-Time defragmentation. in this version is seems that it is not present. not in menus nor in any visible option except in help files. Bug or feature?

Such a pointless program, its not even certified by microsoft... , use perfectdisk2008 what has smartplacement and boottime defrag what actually does the speedboost compared to diskeeper2008 what isn't doing what it says on their website..

No hope for me. I found mine not working after 30 days tried re-installing. Followed instructions. No go. A great program $30. Worth it.

This is only for 32 bit version! What's for 64 bit version? The keygen don't find the program because certainly it looks for it in Program Files x86 folder!

im running xp with sp2, when i try to generate code it says install program first, its installed already, what am i doing wrong

I have 4 Windows XP SP2 machines running Diskeeper pro premier, and 2 Windows 2003 SP1 boxes running Diskeeper Enterprise Server and here’s what I have found so far on this release:

It seems about 60% of the keys the gen makes are already tapped out. Of my 4 xp machines, 2 of them worked the first time through, the other 2 I had to go through 5-10 keys to find a working one. Both the 2003 boxes seemed to work the first time through.

If you’re getting the “maximum limit has been reached” thing here’s how you try another license (not for the feint of heart):

Exit Diskeeper
Shut down the service again
In the Diskeeper folder delete the tab.dat and any volume{..}.dat files
In the registry go to HKLM\Software\Diskeeper Corporation\Licensing
You will see 3 keys, one that starts with “F1D”, another that starts with “2BB”, and a third that is based ont he license you’ve entered.
Delete the key that does *NOT* start with “2BB” or “F1D”. To verify you are deleting the right one go to c:\documents and settings\all users\application data\diskeeper corporation\diskeeper\esmlog.log and find the serial number line at the bottom. (note that in vista this is located in c:\users\all users\diskeeper corporation\diskeeper)
Leave regedit open because you’ll need it in a second
Copy AGAIN’s tab.dat into the diskeeper folder
Restart the Diskeeper service
After the service is started go back to Regedit and you’ll see the key you deleted has been recreated, so delete it again.
Launch Diskeeper again and you can once again enter a license from the Action menu.

Like I said, it took me a half dozen tries to find a working key, so if you don’t have the patience for it you might be better off finding a different product that doesn’t have such a pain in the ass crack to it…

I have read everything here and have tried everything listed. I am still hung up on the activation. I cannot generate an activation code. I am on server 2003 enterprise. fresh install. logged in as administrator. if any one has a keygen that will not go away when trying to generate an activation code. let me know and i would like to get a copy.

1. In the Diskeeper folder delete any volume{..}.dat files

No need to delete tab.dat!

Guys, it seems simply deleting the registry key (the key that does *NOT* start with “2BB” or “F1D”) doesn't solve this problem completely. You get the same activation window each time after reboot. If you look at the Registry table, you will find the key you've deleted was re-created. It's the reason you get activation window again. You can still "activate" the program and use full function by deleting the key again. However, you will get the same problem each time after reboot. Well, I tried and have got a solution to it. Here's how:

You don't have to delete the key that does *NOT* start with “2BB” or “F1D”, since you can't delete it, indeed. ***Instead, you keep this key and manually Deny the access permissions to it in the Registry Editor. In this way, I've found no problem after reboot. Now, the 'activation' is much more sustainable.
