Yeah I agree cybercloner... The only crack that REALLY works after 30 days is for the 2007 version which I still use until last week when I switched to Raxco PerfectDisk 8. gives me no headache until now... I have lost hope for DK 2008...

I suggest Perfect Disk for those who work on the computer constantly since DK tends to lead to file problems atleast imo.

no diskeeper crack. diskeeper sametimes crashing. i use it raxco and happy.

Cracked tab.dll works indeed. I'm not sure what version is suggested by Big_Bamby but anyway mine 12.0.758 works perfectly as from November and until now.

Answerably do PerfectDisk 2008 friend know better Diskeeper 2008 ? To the best of my knowledge PerfectDisk 2008 has more year of experience about this field.

1. tab.dll replacement does NOT work on build 758-t (Service refuses to start)

2. DkRes.dll does NOT work on build 770-t (no effect)

3. ALL "license.dal" files are currently blacklisted.

Let me re-iterate for all numbskulls:

None of these cracks or half-baked schemes work. If they do work, you've got to be one lucky mofo. That being said, to clear up any misunderstandings:

1. tab.dll does NOT work on 770-t for Vista x64 (service refuses to start)

2. DkRes.dll does NOT work on 770-t for Vista x64 (MMC console gets screwed up)

3. licence.dal is a longshot and will most likely NOT work due to quick blacklisting.

Now if someone could come up with a concise, CLEAR temporary working technique for cracking/bypassing 30 day limit on BUILD 770-t for Vista ***64-bit***. Only then may you come back and make ignorant unhelpful comments about how it "really does work" and how I can't read stupid .nfo files.

Let's get a REAL group to crack this mess so we can all throw out all these dozens of crappy bypass schemes, tricks, timestops, registry hacks, bullsh*t cracked DLL's, ETC.

I also once use the SemTheX cracked dll to no avail. I installed it to my sis laptop and it just stopped working after 30 days. I have tried ALL version of DK 2008... stilll....

Yeah I am also mad that it's been more than a year since DK2008 first released and until now there is no really working crack. but who are we to complain as we're also a bunch of amateurs who can't crack anything. so we just hope and pray maybe someday some cracker can release a proper crack for DK2008 or maybe 2009 I dunno. but for now I'll be sticking w/ Raxco 2008. c4p0ne, please do not be that arrogant. What is worse you introduce yourself as a person who is not capable to read .nfo files that come with cracks. Or just cannot understand. Or cannot apply. Otherwise you may buy software and pull their support with selfish and meaningless statements.

This is to prove that tab.dll crack DOES work. Check carefully dates in log and readme text on another screen.

If you can get a license.dal to work, you should be able to set deny permissions on the applicable miscstatus key as before, freezing the countdown timer.

DkRes.dll does work for build 758.
Tab.dll may work. But depends whetever you run XP or Vista. XP should work.
Don't expect a Licence.dal to work with activation.

When cracked with DkRes.dll, it will work but you can't update.

Well I tried some PCs how's this issue.
A PC can run 770 whtout any problem, but on a PC 770 shows "Activation" prompt just after the launch.
This PC previously run 758 and its license was expired before 770 is installed.

Maybe the information of expired previous license remains somewhere in the registory of this PS, I wonder. I got tired reinstall OS itself for eliminating this activation problem like the other PC that has no previous experience of Diskeeper installation.

Anyone knows where the residual of expired license resides in the registory ?

So, ricktendo64, diskeeper 2008 just magically shrank from 25.6 megs to under 5 megs when it became the ""corporate"" version? I personally wouldn't download that.....
