I don't remember the specific name of the file... just look for "divx" dlls or otherwise in your WINDOWS/System32 folder. I don't remember what the name of the file is. Anyhow, divx is native 32-bit, but it manages to install some important components into the x64 System32 folder. Once you find the file (you might get an error when you try to register (i.e. "can't find ****" or something similar). Copy whatever file it is to your SysWOW64 folder (32-bit Windows on Windows). Keep this technique in mind!!!! it is IMPORTANT for some codecs--usually files with the *ax extension. The ac3 codec typically has trouble installing as well. You may have to do this more than once as long as you are running x64 Windows. Good luck... hope you find the file name... sorry I can't be more helpful.

u donīt need this.
download and install kmplayer or vlcplayer, they decode almost all video formats including divx

i am sick of being the 999,999 visitor to get offered spam on the side of this page
it has told me that now for a week on 3 diff. pc's.
