FlashGet is specifically designed to address two of the biggest problems when downloading files: Speed and management of downloaded files. If you've ever waited forever for your files to download from a slow connection, or been cut off mid-way through a download or just can't keep track of your ever-growing downloads then it is for you. It can split downloaded files into sections, downloading each section simultaneously, for an increase in downloading speed from 100% to 500%. This, coupled with its powerful and easy-to-use management features, helps you take control of your downloads like never before. Latest Changes: - Context menu add to Opera 8.x and FireFox1.x - Some fine changes - Bug fixed

Cactus,
Spys and trojans?? You can't be taken by heart because you have no idea of what you're talking about...
What do you mean by "being a pro"?
Don't fool yourself with things people say...
First, take your own conclusions!!
McAfee? It says some system files are malwares!! You have to filter what McAfee Stuff tells you...
By the way, there are a lot of "copies" of FlashGet around... As you said: IDM, Reget, etc...
I prefer using FlashGet because it was the first and it's the one that always worked fine!! Just perfect!! =cD
