FlashGet formerly JetCar, displays download progress in ranks of glittering dots, but its acceleration is not as pronounced as most. Its inability to start a download without confirmation makes for slow starts. We ran into difficulty locating configuration settings, a problem aggravated by a help system that apparently belongs to an earlier version. Nonetheless, the software managed and categorized our sample downloads efficiently. Download: FlashGet 1.80 (2.58 MB)

in the description here, it says that the acceleration is not as pronounced as most? so? whats the fastest download manager?, i want to know, cause i always want the fastest : )
I believe the patch is used to tweak FlashGet so you can get the most out of it.

Yep, Flashget IS Free. The Patch does this:
100 parallel downloads max 30 splits per file

thnks 9down i think flashget is better than idm 5.05 full i can't download music at www.muzic9.com with idm (mms) but flashget can do it i use both of them, because SPEEDDDDDDD : IDM IS THE BEST P.S : u can give a direct link trungkien0701 , i can't download it from rapid
