FlashGet formerly JetCar, displays download progress in ranks of glittering dots, but its acceleration is not as pronounced as most. Its inability to start a download without confirmation makes for slow starts. We ran into difficulty locating configuration settings, a problem aggravated by a help system that apparently belongs to an earlier version. Nonetheless, the software managed and categorized our sample downloads efficiently.

Since the last couple of releases, Flashget has been really slow, bringing my system to a crawl. Since switched to Orbit Downloader.
I'm wondering ! My PC is a real Legacy old junk . but i don't mention any performance drop caused by FlashGet ! "Creemoreguy" there should be another reason for your problem . ???? ??? ?????? ??? 9???? ???

Flashget is not "slow". Just some functions require more resources. Like bittorrent. Older versions didn't support emule or torrent, in this, you can use them all together. This uses more CPU(especially torrent).
