    Free Download Manager (FDM) is a light-weight, powerful and easy-to-use application, a full-featured download accelerator and manager. It allows you to download files and whole web sites from any remote server via HTTP, HTTPS and FTP. With FDM the downloading process will be as easy as never! With FDM you needn't start the downloading from the beginning after casual interruption. You can resume unfinished download from the place where it have been interrupted.     it has a lot of features, very good.. but not as fast as IDM which is the most important feature for a download manager!

    This cheese program is okay, but not half as fast as IDM, I guess that's the reason it is free. IDM is much better.

    I just tried this software, it has a lot of features but its not fast as Orbit (the one Im currently using now).

    you mean the BitTorrent prtocol... yes, it can!
    But it's a work in progress so don't expect it to be as good as uTorrent!

    IDM is faster than FDM, but FDM excels in its complete features and free-of-charge.
