Hey! I must congratulate you on your excellent suggestion! You seem to use the same security setup as me!
The few spyware apps I use are:
Spyware Doctor version 4 (version 5 is still too much of a resource hog for now) and also a good HOSTS file, ZonedOut(brilliant IE zones control for blocking crap stuff), and XsoftSpy doing a twice weekly scheduled scan. Not much gets through that. (I say not much because even then I have still had the odd piece of crap sneak in...but always caught right away)
Who need agnitum anyway. I used to use their firewall until it started blocking stuff I wanted to visit and it seemed not to remember settings...used to be a great program though, best ad blocking ever - until I discovered HOSTSA file and firefox+Adblockplus!

what about BitDefender Antivirus 2008? It found suddenly a lot trojans and other backdoors what kasp and nod didn't found before. all are false positive?
Depends... some extensions like hooks (dll, ocx, ax) are part of a suit (exe + extensions) but if alone they don't do harm. So some AVs like to quarantine more than what's needed. It might also be that in NOD32 settings the category of the files in cause is not selected... see "Select the ThreatSense Scanning Engine options" in the Option page and check everything.

axfleming, nice seeing you on this thread...I don't know my man but adwatch protects any illegal entry into the registry really well. I have found out that adwatch blocks any attempt by any process that injects codes into other processes. I am a firm believer of proactive - heuristic technology. My take is that if your security softwares allow any malicious codes to come inside your machine in the first place, should not be having those security applications to begin with. Process injection is well covered by both TINY and AdAware. Thanks anyway, I appreciated your comments and concerns.
