The Gmail Notifier is a downloadable Windows application that alerts you when you have new Gmail messages.

It displays an icon in your system tray to let you know if you have unread Gmail messages, and shows you their subjects, senders and snippets, all without having to open a web browser.

Note:
Gmail Notifier is made available to you for your non-commercial use only. This means that you may use it at work or at home.

But you first need to obtain Google's permission if you want to sell the Gmail Notifier or any information, services, or software associated with or derived from it, or if you want to modify, copy (except as provided), license, or create derivative works from the Gmail Notifier.

Yep, persistent www.888.com. This site has gone right down hill over the past couple of months. Next it'll be nasties with the downloads if it follows the path of some of my other old favs.

Yeah, if you look at any page's source, it's the "PayPopup.com Advertising Code Begin" harassment script towards the bottom.

You can click anywhere on the page, not just a link, and get reminded of what 9Down is making you put up with when you come here and read useless news items like this.

I visited this site on IE and there is no pop-up. Yet whenever i use Firefox or Opera there are pop-ups. Any one else find this odd?

Oh and i visited the Gmail help page and they don't have this edition of the Notifier available yet.

Somebody is playing with us.Any link to this joke notifier is not a working one.Installing whatever version can not read my e-mail.I think is a waste of time.
