Very nice of our friends at Google to give us something for nothing ..... yeh, just like Gmail. Is it their ambition to control the web just as MS have our PC's, or your PC's anyway? This smacks of a cover for big brother on a massive scale. Google, one company, is going to know everything you do on the net. What might they want to do with that. I suggest if you want to speed up your browsing , just tweak the options on your browser and leave this alone!

I don't really think Google has enough money, power, or labor to control all aspects of gmail, although, you'll never know. I use gmail, because it's fast. period. I don't really care if they read my emails, as long as I have my 2 gigs. But I must agree with you, Google is becoming global. With this accelerator, who knows...
Personally, I don't like googles software, because it hogs my computer as its 486 :P, I used to have Google desktop search installed, but it had beautiful ability to go to 100% processor usage after about 15 minutes of running. I will NOT try this one until it proves useful.

Well, like I tell the Microsoft bashers and now the new Google bashers : Quit whining and use something else. If you need such total security, stay off the internet.

I am not worried about security, I am worried about my computer working or not. As I stated above, I don't like progs that are full of errors (causing 100% cpu usage, stop responding etc) whether they are Microsoft's, google's, adobe's or any other company.
