The K-Lite Codec Pack contains everything you need to be able to playback the most popular audio and video formats. The basic version contains all the codecs that are needed for playing most movies that can be downloaded from the Internet. The full version has some extra codecs which are used less often and includes a media player.
The TFM Audio Filter and the Morgan Multimedia Stream Switcher are not fully compatible. It is recommended not to install both of them. Morgan Multimedia Stream Switcher can be used to switch between two audio streams in a video file that has two audio streams. Those type of files are not very common. TFM Audio Filter can be used to amplify the sound of a video file. It also has an equalizer. DirectVobSub is a tool for displaying subtitles. FourCC Code Changer is a program for changing the FourCC code of a video file. The FourCC code is used to identify which codec should be used to decode the file. This tool is for expert users only. GSpot is a tool that can tell you exactly which codecs are needed to play a certain video file. This is very helpful when you have troubles playing a video file.

Notes:
