K-Lite Codec Pack is a collection of codecs, DirectShow filters and tools. Codecs and DirectShow filters are needed for encoding and decoding (playing) audio and video formats. it has classic win media player also during setup it says broken codec for 2 times i clicked yes it is working but what is it`s benefits

you must close all running applications such as webbrowsers etc. by running setup/installation otherwise some file can be in use. The result will be a setup error cause it can't update thouse files if they are in use. The codec pack enhance the player to support many more audio / video files format such as ogg etc. etc...

In the earlier versions of Media Player Classic I could not play/test my IPOD (mp4) files on it; how about now?
I've been using Nero's Showtime to play my IPOD files; works great!
