K-Lite Codec Pack is a collection of codecs and related tools. Codec is short for Compressor-Decompressor. Codecs are needed for encoding and decoding (playing) audio and video. It is designed as a user-friendly soluction for playing all your video files. You should be able to play all the popular movie formats and even some rare formats.

K-Lite Mega Codec Pack combines the contents of three codec packs: K-Lite Codec Pack Full, QuickTime Alternative, and Real Alternative. It also includes some extra features: BSplayer and DC-DSP filter.

Latest Changes:
* Removed 3ivX, On2 VP3, MS MPEG-4 and DivX 3.11. These are all old and unneeded codecs. These formats can still be played with ffdshow
* Minor changes and fixes

Whoa~? so fast! I thought it was just yesterday they release a Full pack of 1.54..
So this one has some Minor Fixes/Remove of old codecs that could cause errors on certain file playbacks... worth the download!

K-Lite Mega Codec Pack includes everything that the Full version has, plus some extra things, like support for QuickTime and RealMedia files.
