The KMPlayer is a versatile media player which can cover various types of container format such as VCD, DVD, AVI, MKV, Ogg Theora, OGM, 3GP, MPEG-1/2/4, WMV, RealMedia, and QuickTime among others. It handles a wide range of subtitles and allows you to capture audio, video, and screenshots in many ways. The player provides both internal and external filters with a fully controlled environment in terms of connections to other splitters, decoders, audio/video transform filters and renderers without grappling with the DirectShow merit system. Internal filters are not registered to user's system to keep it from being messed up with system filters. The KMPlayer includes almost all the essential decoders required for media playback. Furthermore, to get beyond the limitation of internal decoders, the external ones such as commercial h.264 decoders or cyberlink/intervideo audio decoders can be specified, so that KMP works optimally by the users' own customization. Can anyone show me how to post a topic on 9down? I mean whenever i post anything it never is published. Please someone tell me what must be typed where etc. Give me exact details to post a topic. I tried posting atleast about 30 times still it doesent get published. Please someone be kind and give me some ideas to post a topic. I appreciate the help. What mpeg 1 and 2 codec does this thing use? I've always had a problem with seeking certain mpg files through Winamp using ffdshow, but they play and seek perfectly using KMPlayer. Just wondering how I can get that to work right under Winamp? It always crashes if I seek too many times. Only happens with mpeg 1 or 2 video files.

Forgot to add, concerning video renderers, the Enhanced Video Renderer (Vista) works surprisingly well with XP aswell. And it uses just above 20 Megs of ram fullscreen which is the best performance I've seen in a player!!

You can tell the ones who ain't in the 'club' - the ones who use second hand techniques to score in da 'game'. They're the ones who'll steal your last joint while smokin the peace pipe all night with ya.They'll send you a trojan , just to make themselves feel better cos they've had a life of abuse , and don't feel quite so alone when other people are as screwed as they are.They pretend they're helping you when they offer a faster link using RapidShare - but really , they're getting rewarded everytime you visit their link with RapidShare points. They'll never join us , we'll never invite them ... they're out before they know it.
