I know Kaspersky doesn't have 100% detection... But its certainly closer to 100% while having the least amount of FP's than ANY other anti-virus.

If you're refering to the Pro-Active tests... KAV 7 did pretty good considering the heuristics are new and they are not being dipshits and dropping signature detections rates like NODshit does.

I had a virus named "Trojan.Win32.Hider.i" according to Kaspersky. I simply pack it 35 times with WinRAR in .rar, .zip, .sfx.exe, .exe forms. Then i upload it to VirusTotal, and strange to see that many antivirus detecting the virus was missing the virus, i.e., only Kaspersky (king), F-Secure (has Kaspersky engine), McAfee, Fortinet, Dr.Web, ClamAV, and AVG detect that threat. But NODcrap, AntiVir,Bitdefender and many others miss the threat totally. Amazing! Simply WinRAR packed files are not detected by many antivirus claming themselves as "Rock Antivirus" and "Heuristic Antiviruses".
It was my amazing experiment that clarify "Rock antivirus" and "Bull*shit antivirus".

2.If you say speed, that is even better than NODcrap because NODcrap miss many viruses due to its "HIGH SPEED" and bad detection strategies. If you install Kaspersky on ur useless system, u will find many malwares on your system.Fuc* detection of NODcrap.

I had tested many antiviruses i.e. from Kaspersky 6, 7, Eset NOD32 2.7?, McAfee VSE 8.0i, VSE 8.5i, Home Edition 2007, NortonISS 2007, TrendMicro AV 2007, ZoneAlarm 7.?.??, Avira Workstation 7, Panda AV 2007, AVG 7.5, and many more, including many antispyware and i had a good collection of viruses and spyware to test efficiency on my system for my choice. After that i was able to compare antiviruses on basis of detection, feature, updates, speed, etc.
Now u as*hole tell me that how u can say that NODcrap has self-protection, while it's processes can be terminated using task manager. Even i had a virus that disables and infect NODcrap files in seconds and NODcrap has no protection against its own processes and its installation folder. Check yourself as*hole. You will feel pain in your ass by knowing this fact, that Kaspersky has this protection.
Second, if a virus/spyware file is in use, NODcrap can not delete it or quarantine it, but give you only red warning again and again. Fu*king NODcrap. While Kaspersky king, flag it and delete it on next restart.
Third, If u disable your antivirus, then u has no protection, but in Kaspersky if u disable antivirus, Proactive defense Module protects you against malware attack and even give you option of "Rollback" if some malware run. Is NODcrap has this thing, even in its dream. Tell me ass*hole.
Fourth, if your luck goes away and you get infected, then how can you get back your useless system. NODcrap prefer to autodelete the file or quarantine the infected file, rather than cleaning it, even it cannot clean "NIMDA infected file".Strange. Others antiviruse clean the file rather deleting it. So after getting infected with NODcrap, u will feel pain in your ass, because, it even quarantine "explore.exe" rather than cleaning it, and you will see fuc*ing screen on your computer. Later you may blame "Microsoft" that they donot make "explore.exe" hard, so that it cannot get infected. Ass*hole, then try Kaspersky to get rid of that virus. If you want to test this feature of NODcrap, i can send u many viruses to test, that can make you troubled with ur ass. I had tested all these features, so i can understand this, can write about comparison between 'fu*king protection' and 'Rock protection'.
Now tell me PD1447, that how u feel about your NODasshole. I donot claim, that kaspersky in perfect. There is always room for improvement, but "Kaspersky" is far better from "ESET NOD32".
Summery:
Some people feel better, if there is some long dick(s) in their asses like PD1447. They want to dominate using useless things, without knowing about something better than their fu*king idea.
Anyway check both NODcrap and Kaspersky King, and then reply to my post. I am sure, you will forget about NODcrap, when you will get infected with a virus, that was missed by your NOD Heuristic, and you will then use Kaspersky to get rid of it and soon will say "Kaspersky Is King!"

I must say that i am wonderfully surprised with the performance and relaibility of Kaspersky.

I used to be a Norton and NOD32 Enthusiast.
Until i started having virus problems with NOD32 and Norton. They never picked up Viruses and if they did.. it was always too late. Even more dissapointing was the removal of Viruses. NOD32 was never able to removed Viruses it found. Norton was impossible to remove. I had to download a separate program just for complete removal.

Thanks to Kiss747, Boyfriend, vfusion, and everybody else who chipped and shared. I can speak enough about all the hard work and time i have saved by coming here.

1- Go To ( Start ) Then ( Run )

2- Type ( regedit ) And Press ( OK )

3- Go To ( HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\KasperskyLab\AVP6\Data ) & Right Click On ( Data ) & Choose ( Permissions )

4- Choose ( Advanced ) From The ( Permissions For Data ) New Window Opened

5- In ( Advanced Security Settings for Data ) Window .. There is a sentnce which begin with ( Inherit from parent ... ) click on the nike or check mark to remove it

6- After Removing The Check or Nike Mark You will get a New Message .. Choose From It ( Remove )

7- Then In ( Advanced Security Settings For Data ) Click on ( Apply )

8- After Clicking Apply you will Get A New Message Choose ( Yes )

9- After That Press ( OK ) In ( Advanced Security Settings For Data )

10- After That .. Press ( OK ) In ( Permissions For Data )

Take a look at the VB website, KAScrap has FAILED in this months tests. Nothing more to add really apart from NOD32 has passed almost every single one..

Correct skindog it did, has, whatever. These morons only go by the test results when kasperjoke gets a decent score. So most of the time their on the offencive because it doesnt get good scores. NOD32 has maintained a consistent level of detection while kaspershit has risen and fallen so much the stock market looks like it flatlined.

Use what you will. I chose the best, I use NOD32 and not this crap.

Lavasoft Ad-Adware 2007 is good antispyware, but i personally use AVG Antispyware 7.?.??, because it has more support of packers, and it even detect many viruses, although it is antispyware.
I had recently tried Lavasoft Ad-Adware 2007, but before comprehensive use, I will not comment about it. Currently, I am feeling some problem with it.

skindogg, Kaspersky failed the test because they took a detection out of the database to fix it in some way (Removal or something, something of which NOD32 fails at consistently.. Though VB doesn't throw any tough malware at anti-viruses... Otherwise things like Norton and others would fail alot more often). If VB had did the test in less than ONE HOUR later, Kaspersky would have succesfully detected and deleted the file. Get your facts straight, as far as I'm concerned Kaspersky has passed.

NODusers are just bullshit and don't know how to talk or comment.
NODcrap itself is just a shit.
Kaspersky is king and this is universal truth.
NO one has proved me that NODshit can clean an infected file, even NIMDA, a very old virus. It just quarantine, and say "YOU ARE PROTECTED", while actually you are not.
It has no rock/solid cleaning procedure for any virus, just delete all infected files including Windows/system32/*.*
Speed is not ultimate objective of antivirus, but detection and then cleaning is objective of antivirus.

You should run a complete computer scan. This will improve your computer speed, because Kaspersky uses iSwift and iChecker technology to keep track of cleaned file and don't scan them multiple time or on every access, as they are already clean. This will surely improve your speed.

Those keys were blacklisted within 3 days, i hope the same is not going to happen with the ones you have so kindly given us.Thats why i uninstalled Kav because the keys kept on getting b/listed. I installed NOD32 but i cant say i was impressed because never pickup any viruses but my anti-spyware did? So changed back to Kav also their were many files that NOD32 could not scan because it says they are locked!I also use Lavasoft and have found it to be reasonable good and have been using for many years. I can recomend Lavasoft even will help you to remove viruses if you run a boottime scan. At one stage i tried Bitdefender and it was unable to remove some viruses , which Lavasoft was able to remove and it is a anti-spyware program! Sorry i cant give you advise on rexec.exe, but strange things do happen to lots of Friends, have you tried search with google because i have also had problems and tried to find a answer through google and a forum, usually you find other people have had the same problem and they managed to resolve the problem like that. I do not say that it can be solved like that everytime but sometimes it is worth a try. No the web setting is at Recommended level (default)and its only happening at 9Down. I don't have problems with other sites.

Howzit all you Kaspersky fans? I have decided to go back to my old trusted friend Avast, i found KAV/KISS to heavy in the sense that when it does a scan it mounts your harddrive like a horse, its already cost me a new harddrive and this constant battling for a key is a pain up the arse! Anyway to each his own , you are all obviously great fans of Kaspersky and for the short time i tried it i must say i was impressed and it is most problably the best but to harsh for my machine. i would use uTorrent to download Spiderman 3 but the latest update causes a conflict with my Computer..

As soon as i open uTorrent my Dual Core CPU hits 90% and does not go back down.. then my computer starts to get laggy .. Before the latest uTorrent update.. it worked Great!

Babis, I've never compared KIS to NOD32 in terms of the "Suite". I'm just saying V3 of NODshit has a firewall while v7 of Kaspersky has MANY things

Improved rootkit detection, based on new emulation engine
Improved GUI
Improved keylogger detection
Improved heuristic detection (Which will be further improved)
It's even lighter, the Anti-Hacker is set for higher download speeds

When I do compare NODshit and KAV it's blatently obvious who's the winner... Because
NODshit detects as much malware as it removes, which isn't very much at all.

Still getting the network attacks on your computer after closing the services as recommended by firewallleaktester.com ?

I don't get such network attacks but I do get the "Intrusion.Win.MSSQL.worm.Helkern-----UDP-----1434" attcks, maybe two/three times a day.

Nothing serious...already blocked port 1434 and also disabled the annoying pop-up notification for this type of attack.

I am also a kaspersky lover.. The inconvenient i found with that is when i enabled the web anti-virus in KAV, the privacy option in Zonealarm pro is not working.. That is ZA is unable to block popups and ads... But when I disable http scanning in KAV, ZA works perfectly.. Is there any solution..?

And I found that NOD32 works perfectly with Zonealarm..

Do u really need to use Zone Alarm with KIS ? I don't know if it's such a good idea as KIS do block ads.. As for me, even disabled IE7Pro (adblock) to speed things up.

Hi.. I tried Zone alarm pro with Kaspersky Anti-virus.. Every one knows that ZA is professional in Firewall.. So, KAV is enough for anti-virus.. But when KAV act as server, it doesn't allow ZA to act..

Pls clear my one doubt.. When Kaspersky and Nod32 were currently updated, there are able to find all the latest virus or not..

I know that i kaspersky is inefficient in Proactive defense, where as NOD32 is master in it. But the nod32 is not able to find all the virus like KAV...

Wishacker. NOD32 has the finest engine avalible. Its proactive defense is mikes past kaspershit. Kaspershit is the king...of false positives. NOD32 hasent missed an in the wild treat in 7 years.

Use what works for you. NOD32 is for people that "understand" how computers work thus explaining why people like anti smart and "boy" friend dont have any sucsess with it. if your willing to work it there is nothing better then NOD32. If you want a no brainer(and infections)kaspershits for you.

PD1447, if NOD32 has the "Finest" engine available, why does no company want it? There's NOT ONE reason an AV company wouldn't let another company use it (Nice income comes from doing this) but NOD32 is used in one program. Itself.

Kaspersky with THE BEST engine is used in a variety of products, F-Secure, AVK, eScan, AOL AVS and others. Why? Because IT IS THE BEST.

Once again PD, you have no proof Kaspersky has many FP's. AV-Comparatives says different.

In all honesty. Kaspersky OVERALL detects more malware than NOD32. And Kaspersky DEFINITLY removes more malware than NOD32. And Kaspersky does not have FP's. If you think it does eat more shit from PD1447's ass.

In the end, NODshit and other AV's are left out to try... And...

It's free, more up-2-date, better features and more acurate than DUMeter.
I'm very happy with the latest beta version, except it does lack sound ability at the moment.
If you need sound, DUMeter is the best... tortus

Regarding the previously mentioned French version 123.

I couldn't do the EN conversion on a clean build and the working Key I had for 120 is BL'd on 123.
123fr is actually 3 weeks newer than 120.

On my main Net Box I just use AVS plus a few other goodies including Agnitum stuff.
After nearly 8 months, there is no promo, no spam, no spys, nothing. Works great and all free (or borrowed)..... larf'n

You guys, for English V.123 you download the .119 TR and update it... And it will download EVERYTHING .123 french or german or chinese or whatever has, just the # will still be .119. Remember .120 was not supposed to be released so it will not have the files .123 has... ONLY .119 TR will.
