Kaspersky: Anti-virus community now has upper hand on cybercriminals.


Kaspersky Lab has announced that anti-phishing databases provided by PhishTank have been incorporated into the Anti-Phishing module of Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0. Just the other day, I had an article about PhishTank that reported the general situation of phishing.

It’s great to see that experts cooperate with each other for the benefit of us users. I’ve always said Kaspersky Lab deserves its place amongst the leaders on the market and this piece of news just comes to prove it. The security solutions they offer will help the ones that aren’t tech-savvy. If some people don’t know what to click on when their firewall prompts them, well, with software protection against phishing, it’s all going to be fool-proof!

An earlier sign that these two would cooperate was when this summer PhishTank granted Kaspersky Lab a "Star Phish Award" in recognition of its contribution to the cause of fighting back against phishing.

KASPERSKY IS NOT BETTER THAN NOD 32....!!!!!!!!
i was using kaspersky registered version of 7.0 and it made me problems aslways..... some times computer is bing remaind and was unable to boot even. twise i happend to reinstall the system...... now i am using NOD32....
and really NOD is the KING........
its working prefectlly.........

YOU HAVE A CHEAP COMPUTER - if it can only run Nod32, a good gomputer can run almost any antivirus software, I work with computers and truthful Nod32 can't dream of touching the viruses and trojans that Kaspersky can. Nod32 maybe a tick faster but it doesn't intensive scan that Kaspersky does. If your computer can't handle Kaspersky, maybe it is little bit to demanding/strong for your kid's computer. Kaspersky did win the Star Phish award, but as you said "maybe you are just dumb." Only the professional know that to make something better, you have to constantly keep improving it and that it what Kaspersky does (to stay ahead) of the others. Being the best is steady hardwork, it doesn't stop once you are on top!!!!!
