Check this out from kaspershit's own site:

Kaspersky Anti-Virus receives VB100 award for Windows Vista x64

a few notables from their own page:

"Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content management solutions, announces that Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 has received a VB100 award from respected British magazine Virus Bulletin."

"The superlative level of malicious program detection without any false positives has brought Kaspersky Anti-Virus another well-earned VB100 award."

Let's see that fool uagadugu, Anti-Smart, clkgtr, Dominator_Dickhead and the other fanboys spin that by trying to say that this test is worthless, when even Eugene Retardsky says it is respected!

I wonder if Retardsky is going to put this failure on Kaspershit page like they did the award..

oh-oh, I don't see the failure from June up there... hmmmm.

Just give it up, fanboy retards.

Kaspershit sux, and only a fool would use it.

NOD32.

(nothing else needs to be said!)

LMAO!!

RE : by BrollyLSSJ on 2007-12-08 18:34:50
NOD32KING is there any specific reason why you posted stuff from old Kaspersky Engine?
RE : by NOD32King on 2007-12-08 20:14:17
I thought my post was clear.

Anti-Malware likes to post test results that put Kaspersky in a positive light, but any test that Kaspersky fails he claims is meaningless.

I posted this link to show that Kaspersky DOES CARE about VB100, so that Anti-Malware can't say shit.

Preemptive strike, my boy.
RE:Kaspersky Anti-Virus & Internet Security v7.0.1.297 Beta by NOD32King on 2007-12-08 16:43:35

Where have all the Kaspershit fanboys gone?

The silence is deafening!

uagadugu, where are you?

Anti-Brain?

Dominator_Dummy?

montanu?

clkgtr?

PD1447, how goes it? u shouldn't be surprised at these betas; it is clear that Retardsky knows his product is shitty and would most likely fail the VB100 test, so that's why he has his peons working overtime pumping out betas to fix his shitty softwares.

In closing, what is the lesson of the day, childrens?

What was that?

I can't hear it!

Say it one more time; speak clearly into the microphone.

Yes, that right, all together now:

NOD32 IS KING

@NOD32King
Pal...take a break...
I see u like NOD very much..many people feel the same way...some others feel otherwise...
I was previously a NOD32 user and the only reason why I shifted to KIS is that NOD failed to detect a boot virus on my USB, which apparently KIS running on my friends PC did....
SO people have their own resons...SEE!!
RE:Kaspersky Anti-Virus & Internet Security v7.0.1.297 Beta by NOD32King on 2007-12-08 20:07:58
@clkgtr
Actually, I don't really care that much about NOD32; what I HATE is Kaspersky.

As for taking a break, I will; there's nothing left to say.

In AV-Comparatives, a 96% for NOD32 is an "A" grade just like a 98% for Kaspersky, however note well that NOD32 has never FAILED a VB100 test, while Kaspersky failed TWICE in 6 months!

You can choose inferior protection if you want to, however, the data, the AWARDS, speak for themselves.

As for me being an annoying troll, veterans will remember that uagadugu and Anti-Malware were the original trolls, posting hundreds of "Kaspersky is King" posts in the NOD32 threads.

Hopefully they have learned their lesson, and there will no longer be a need for a NOD32King.

Peace.

NOD32King...Whats up.

Great to see ya!

I'm afraid uagadugu and anti samrt will probably never return. To ashamed. Kaspershit being proved the failure that it truly is. They may have accidendily set off an infection prviously missed by kasperdhit and are currently reformating..er...WTF am I saying, their computers are in the shop being repaired by someone that is capable of fixing it. You know those e-machines are tricky.

Maybe after all their trouble they will finaly realise that...

NOD32 was what you should always have been using in the first place.

After all the upgrading I've been doing over the las 2 weeks, if I did'nt still have the same case I would'nt recognise my own system.

Check this out.

6 HDs for a total of 1420GB.

New Core 2 Duo CPU. It's not their fastes but the 1333mhz FSB is awesome. 2 gigs DDR2 800. New intel Q35 MB. Its not an X38 but it's cool enough. I ready boosted a Corsaire 2GB flash drive and to top it all off. Vista ultimate X64.

This rig is fuing sweat!

But I would never trust it to kaspershit.

NOD32 is the only way to properly protect my valuble data.

Period.
RE:Kaspersky Anti-Virus & Internet Security v7.0.1.297 Beta by NOD32King on 2007-12-08 21:14:27
Hey Brother PD!

How's that Vista doing for you?

Been seeing a lot of bad press on the sucker; some are even wondering if this is going to be another Windows Me.

XP SP3 RC1 is coming out in tests as 10% FASTER than XP SP2, which under application tests appears to be two times faster than Vista!

I don't have a computer to run an operating system; I have a computer to run apps!

If this Vista is making my stuff run slower, why the hell should I use it?

With DRM slowing your shit down, I just can't find any reason to "upgrade"?

You happy with that turkey?
RE:Kaspersky Anti-Virus & Internet Security v7.0.1.297 Beta by PD1447 on 2007-12-08 21:37:45
Vista runs fantastic on a system with this much power. I forgot to mention the video card. It a year old but it's still a nvidia 7900.

To make Vista run properly without being a system hog loke kaspershit you have to tweak it right.

Enable Administrators account.

Take full ownership of all volumes.

Disable UAC.

Use X64!!

Use NOD32.

Use Core 2 Duo CPU.

Good multi rail PSU.

With all the stuff I got running you would think it would run slower but it acctually runs faster then XP and 2003 do.

I got 10 systems running VIsta here and they all run great and run any program I through at them. Even my kids system are great specs though. The boys computer is running so good they refused the pentiumd sysem I was going to give them, so I gave it to my 5yo daughter. She now has the second fastest system in the house.

My laptops run Vista just fine as well. One runs Vista businnes edition x386 while the other runs Ultimate x64. These are the slower of my systems. I got an old gateway a client gave me that I keep running XP on but nobody hardly uses it.

But dude ou should see this system I got here now thats my main rig. Damn its fast. And never ever crashes. Ever!!

I got to get to work soon but tonight I'll send you some pics of this rig here and you can see for yourself. Damn.
RE:Kaspersky Anti-Virus & Internet Security v7.0.1.297 Beta by NOD32King on 2007-12-08 21:43:45

Vista runs fantastic on a system with this much power.

Yeah, I just can't help wondering how the same system would be with XP SP3...

I ran Vista Ultimate for a month and I just couldn't find a reason to continue for longer.

RE:Kaspersky Anti-Virus & Internet Security v7.0.1.297 Beta by VIIAP on 2007-12-08 22:32:50
This is not beta; it's NCT means Not Completely Tested and due to users' comments in Kaspersky forum it seems that this version is almost OK and we will see final version very soon!!
RE:Kaspersky Anti-Virus & Internet Security v7.0.1.297 Beta by NOD32King on 2007-12-08 23:20:07

With all the stuff I got running you would think it would run slower but it acctually runs faster then XP and 2003 do.

All of the news website reviews I have seen say that you are falling for an illusion: it appears faster because the OS has been tweaked to appear more responsive, but it actually runs your software slower.

Give me a link to one review test which says otherwise.

Office, Games, CD Burning... every site I have seen says it is slower.

I guess you guys can't bear to see me go...

NOD32 IS KING, you kaspershit gay fanboys, KING!!

RE:Kaspersky Anti-Virus & Internet Security v7.0.1.297 Beta by PD1447 on 2007-12-09 10:35:15
ECC is supported in my 975xbx motherboard. And I did use ECC when I first built it but it was 533. I later updraded to Corsair XMS DDR2800. Which is still on that mb. This Q35 mb is running the same. Corsair DDR2800 latency 4. 2 gigs. I was concidering going all the way to 8 gigs but seem like overkill. Then I was considering just uping it to 4 gigs. But I rarely use more the 40% of the ram I have. 52% under heavy load. What do I need it for? I think I'll just stick with 2 for awhile, or until I find a Program or game that demands more.

Sorry I had to leave earlier and I just saw your post a little while ago.

You are correct XP is with out a doubt faster. But things change. Another 2 years and XP will become harder to find and supprt will start to dry up. XP is great and Vista has been a nightmare for some. But it works for me.
RE:Kaspersky Anti-Virus & Internet Security v7.0.1.297 Beta by NOD32King on 2007-12-09 10:40:09
I always wondered why they hype ECC for servers, yet almost no one uses it for PCs; what happen, today's memory don't have errors anymore?

Yeah, you are right about the Vista; they are prolly working overtime right now trying to speed things up.
It does have a little of a Windows Me feel to it though.

I am surmising that right now M$ is also prolly working on a new OS platform to get rid of the old baggage of backwards compatibility, like what Apple did when they moved from OS9 to OSX.

Vista will likely be the last backwards compatible Windows OS.
RE:Kaspersky Anti-Virus & Internet Security v7.0.1.297 Beta by NOD32King on 2007-12-09 10:46:05
I forgot to add I had no problems with Vista; everything worked fine for me, and to be honest, it did feel faster than XP, but when I ran DOOM3 on it I noticed a difference.

It also feels more "solid"? I am not sure why that is.

Even with that, I just couldn't find a compelling reason to make a platform switch.

On the M$ site they have a page with 100 reasons to use Vista, and not one mattered to me, as almost everything there I already had solved with third party softs on XP.

Plus there is still stuff that Vista still lacks, like a clipboard with a queue.

I mean, what the hell is up with only one item can fit in your clipboard when people like you are kicking it with 8 gigs ram?
RE:Kaspersky Anti-Virus & Internet Security v7.0.1.297 Beta by PD1447 on 2007-12-09 10:50:59
If microsoft hadent given me a copy of every version I would'nt have it either. I woudl never spend $400 US for "any" OS.

But when they send you it for free along with 20 product keys for each version, I could'nt resist trying it. It got it last NOV 16 2006 and I have been running it ever since.
RE:Kaspersky Anti-Virus & Internet Security v7.0.1.297 Beta by PD1447 on 2007-12-09 11:02:08

RE:Kaspersky Anti-Virus & Internet Security v7.0.1.297 Beta by NOD32King on 2007-12-09 11:07:31
This is amusing to me.

I remember I told Anti-Smart to wait for the next AV-Comparatives.

The result?
NOD32 killed Kaspershit with the AV of the future, a thinking AV with superior heuristics, not a dumb lookup database like Kaspershit.

VB100?
NOD32 has NEVER failed a VB100, and Kaspershit failed again.

I can close my eyes and predict the result of the next test.

You know why?

Because NOD32 IS KING, cocksuckers!
RE:Kaspersky Anti-Virus & Internet Security v7.0.1.297 Beta by NOD32King on 2007-12-09 11:14:56
PD, I don't know about these other retards, but my system does NOT crash, except for the occasional game, but that is DirectX, where the OS pretty much gives up control to the game.

I always wonder about these Linux fanboys talking about how reliable their system is.

Heck, I think 3 blue screens in 4 years on a 24/7 system is ok, especially since the last happened two years ago.

And don't get me started on those Mac retards, always trying to convince everyone that PCs suck and Macs rule!

They remind me of these Kaspershit gay fanboys we have here on 9down...
RE:Kaspersky Anti-Virus & Internet Security v7.0.1.297 Beta by PD1447 on 2007-12-09 11:16:48
I agree.

Anti has been saying..wait till next test, or next version, 6, 7 now 8 and then kaspershit will be better. So that says the dipshit is using known bad protection inhopes it will get better? What a dweeb.

And uagadugu is just plain lost his mind.

I think he had a very bad time in prison.

Got released and found NOD32 kickin kaspershit in the nads.
RE:Kaspersky Anti-Virus & Internet Security v7.0.1.297 Beta by PD1447 on 2007-12-09 11:20:27
Your right dont get started on the MACs. Their new OS is doing worse then Vistea ever did. I have seen on some newsgroups that it crashes all the time or just plain will not install. But their "it just works" banner is gonna get Mr Jobs sued.

Apple sent me their software as well and I just put it in the drawer and locked it.

RE:Kaspersky Anti-Virus & Internet Security v7.0.1.297 Beta by NOD32King on 2007-12-09 11:52:07
PD, well of course my system isn't smokin' like yours, I only got a 3.9, but I did build the guy over 3 years ago...

But you are right, it is time to upgrade.

Before they had dual cores I set up a dual cpu box; man, the performance was sweet.

This was back in 2000 tho, but for some reason I still prefer the idea of two physical processors than this dual core business, so for my next box which I am gathering data for I am looking to use two dual core cpus, rather than a single quad-core.

Maybe an ASUS, Intel, or even a Supermicro board.

How's the performance of 64-bit compared to 32?

I like the fact that you can go over 4 gigs with 64-bit; with memory so cheap nowadays I could easily throw 8 in there and put my swap file on a Ramdisk, swapping to disk sucks enough as it is!
RE:Kaspersky Anti-Virus & Internet Security v7.0.1.297 Beta by NOD32King on 2007-12-09 11:56:57
Jay-Jay, I don't use EIS, but here is the truth, which you won't find from these lying skunk Kaspershit retards:

The firewall in Eset Internet Security sucks in its current version; even the firewall in KIS 7 is better.

However, NOD32 is still the KING of Anti-virus, so for gold medal protection I suggest you ditch the EIS and go with standard NOD32 and a firewall like Comodo (although 3.0 is having problems right now) or the latest Outlook, and wait for the next version of EIS.

I find it funny how ppl take this as a big issue or wanting to switch to another AV just because Kaspershit misses 1 virus check. It's been mostly like that since the last test in June. Besides, aslong as your not a noob or an asshat and know what you're downloading and what settings to set for your FW, it shouldn't be a problem. I've been using Kaspershit 7.0.0.125 for awhile now and still waiting on something better from the dev's with a new working version instead of these constant betas :/ Hopefully soon cause this old interface is getting dull :P
