This kaspersky people does not get satisfied with their every build if they wanna fix bug then do it once and release the product on year basis like norton and mcafee does.... This is a good software but catches some working programs as threats.. however it says not a virus but it should not b there common person who does not know much about these warnings will scared.. it takes too much CPU and www.rediff.com does not work when installed kaspersky yeah it blocks it's advertisements but not too vigrously.I have Norton Internet Security 2007 latest vista version and i m satisfied with that....It silently catches virus and display working on threats in small pop-ups with annoying and disturbing work kaspersky give too much warning msgs that irritate me when i login with yahoo messanger it's better to use Norton Kaspersky Antihacker lefy my 135 and 335 Ports open wide when i conducted test with my LAN and wireless WPA security encription test.. Norton And Zone Alarm Blocked that But not kaspersky and Mcafee..One more think when i surf the net with kaspersky intalled it takes lot of CPU to scan web traffic but Norton takes 2-3% and silently does the same work there are some problems with it protective defense also..... too many problems that is every time beta pops out day after day.......better to use Norton it detected my set of 1350 virus and did not miss a single threat yeah it is not fast in threat release like kaspersky but every PC does not get hit by an hour developed threat....

Kaspersky is just like any other company.

Hey guys, maybe I'm wrong here, but is either NOD32 or Kaspersky a definitive "better"? I only ask because I've found that most people, with normal usage, don't have real problems with either. Personally, I use NOD32, and don't "hate" on any other software manufacturers, but I just choose not to use them for various reasons. I've used Norton, McAfee, Trend Micro, AVG, and NOD32... (over the years, of course, lol... not at the same time). These computers have been either at work or at home. I've found NOD32 to be very light on my system resources, and usually very good about stopping any threats detected.

I only ask the above question because I've heard lots of good things about Kaspersky, but never done any real "head to head" matchups. I'd be willing to give it a shot, if you all recommend it.

Thay stick to this crap that they call AV because it's slow, resource intensive copared to NOD32 and, well, they get out a lot of public betas... which by the way, is UNPROFESSIONALLY! But whay the heck... user experiences don't count!
