It may be slow down PC and internet connectivity, but its virus engine is much better than eset, i hv installed eset but it didnt detect vulnerable software and some trojan spyware , after removing the eset , i hv installed the kas , it detected, but my internet and pc goes slow.

If i say whats the best total security..some would say Bitdefender Total Security,Kaspersky Internet security,Eset Smart Security...But something is missing in all these...Do you know that these antivirus are not good in firewall...The best firewalls are Zonealarm,Outpost,Comodo...because they are special on that...But they are week in antivirus..So what should you do to find the best?..........Just imagine a total security software with the virus engine of Kaspersky,Antispyware & Firewall of Zonealarm..Believe me or not Zonealarm has released their new Security Suite with the Kaspersky Antivirus engine and the ugly skinned Security Suite has taken the crown.

For all I know most softwares have the following stages.....

Alpha>Beta>RC>RTM>Final.....
I hope the final will be releases within the next five years.....Till then Ill stick to ESET NOD32 Antivirus.....Smart Software For Smarter People!

You want to know which antivirus is better? Go work yourself in computer repair business, where virus is 80% of the work... You will see which one is never present when you boot an infected computer...

To resume this, Stop using Kaspersky, I need work!!! :)

All I got to say is what a load of crap software. The antivirus may get good scores on reviews, but this internet security suite blows big time! It conflicts with everything.

It slows all HTTP traffic even on "low" settings for the web shield. It has caused several programs that need internet access to slowly connect or hang up. The scanner is a resource hog as well. When a scan is being done it can spike a CPU to 100% every 5 seconds and then drop back down. This is on a 2.1GHz AMD CPU so it shouldn't be that intense. The firewall interface is complicated and not very easy to use when you set manual rules.

I'm sorry, but even if norton's suite makes your PC start up and shut down slower, at least it doesn't interfere with the rest of my computer.

NOD32 is very resource light but the program itself is crap to...it doesn't detect as much as some of the other top scanners and lacks a lot of helpful features.

Having tested these various suites myself, I can say that besides the fact that norton slows startup and shutdown times, its far superior to the other security suites...

With everyone always saying how great these other software packs are, I have to say I'm pretty disappointed...the only thing any others have over norton's suite is resource usage, and thats about it...
