Kaspersky Sucks, Russians are good in drinking Vodka, not in antivirus softwares. You want to be sure you are protected then go for NOD32, alternative free one is Avast.
First of all, KIS is not bad at all. ZoneAlarm used to suck, but now it has been improved. Secondly, the Russians are on the forefront of the anti-virus and the data security research and they had been there for at least a dozen years.
NOD32 works for some people and it does not work for the others. Avast did not work for me, so I cannot say too many good things about it.
And when it comes to your stupid comments about the Russians being only good at drinking vodka, let me tell you something: you got crap for brains and somebody should teach you a good lesson and kick your dumb ass till it becomes black and blue, you degenerate. When you do not know anything and have nothing smart to say then go and use your mouth on your boyfriend or something.

I love Kaspersky, but I had to stop using KIS because the firewall part was drastically slowing now my Cable internet from around 9000 kbps to around 1000 kbps download. Now I just use KAV instead along with a firewall that doesn't slow my connection.
So try the new ZoneAlarm. BTW, when your firewall software slows down your connection, you may want to try disabling the HTTP Traffic Scan or whatever it is called. Helps alot, but lets more spyware through. So you have to use something like Spybot S&D once in every two weeks or so.

Well uaga...I desperatly wanted to use kaspersky. I felt the product was maturing and getting past all the bad raps that have been leveled against it. And it in my opinion it has.
Unfortunatly Kaspersly missed 4 trojans that another ad-ware program did find.
Theses are bad trojans too. At this point things look bad for kaspersky.
I have removed it from my main computer and replaced it with NOD32(what else).!
After a full scan with NOD32 2 more treats were identified and removed.
Kaspersky missed 6 treats. Serious ones at that.
Whatever program uaga has been screaming about is more then likly safe. Kaspercrap can't find real treats you definitly can't trust what it does find to be legitimate.
I was running .614 final when all this came up and it had its up to the minute updates when it failed to find these infections.
The King Has Returned.
If it weren't for a casual ad-ware scan I would not have known that kaspersky was so weak in the AV side. I do like the firewall in kaspersky. Learning mode is great. Total control and thats what you need. To bad abouth the AV.
NOD32 is the only way to go at this point.
Sorry boys kaspersky is a failure.

I use KAV 5 and Outpost fire wall + SE adware remover and my pc works fine and has been clean for a long time, no problems

I have a ZA until like 2055 or something, but Kaspersky is hands down better. I'd prefer to use it, but if necessary I could roll back to good 'ole Zone Alarm.

You don't require any additional anti-malware softwares... when you have Kaspersky in your system. I tried these anti-malware softwares to test my system (which is having Kaspersky Internet Security 6):
1. Webroot Spy sweeper latest 2. Regrun latest 3. SpySubtract latest 4. Spybot S & D latest 5. Spy Doctor latest
None of them detected any viruses, adwares, spywares etc and they reported that system is clean. This means that, Kaspersky Internet security can provide total protection. Don't waste your time in searching anyother anti-malware programs.
Not always entirely true: I have KIS running on my systems, but I my Spybot S&D still finds plenty of spyware every two weeks or so. I am serious, folks: Spybot is a great product.
