With MSN Messenger you can chat online via text, voice or even video conversation - in real time - with your friends, family or colleagues.
It's faster than e-mail, a great choice for conversations and the perfect alternative when you can't be there in person.
What's New in This Release:
The signin page: - Totally new, you can save your email address only, save the email and the password, and you can also sign in automatically. Finally, these options are seperated! - If you check "Remember Me", your display picture will be displayed instead of the MSN Messenger logo and your email will automatically be entered
The contact list: -Not much to say besides the fact the "Add contact" button is placed elsewhere.
The conversation window: - The option buttons were changed - "Voice Clip" enables you to send a voice message for the time you want by holding the button and talking in your mic. You can also press and hold F2
New dynamic backgrounds (h): - You may choose a new kind of background which is animated like the winks. The animation is more pleasant, the text color matches it so you can still see it clearly and it's not just annoying. - There is also the option to share the dynamic backgrounds, as soon as you set one, if your "Share background" option is checked (in the "more" menu) then the background is sent as a file to the person you're talking with.

This may seem like a completely stupid question, but why would anyone want to use MSN Messenger as a chat client, when you can only talk to people you know, and if you don't know anyone that use MSN you have no one to talk to. Last I tried it, which was an earlier 7.5 beta build there were still to rooms as Yahoo Messenger has, where you can talk to people either from your country or around the world.
Unless they have now added rooms by now, if not, you would think with the effort microsoft is using to promote its software that they would come out with a client similar to Yahoo. Messenger
lol!!! you definitely must be a n00b. for years and years, MSN Messenger did have chat, which was even built in, which was better than Yahoo. It has been removed for a couple years now. Although the MSN Chat itself still kinda exists.
Rooms or no rooms who wants to chat real time
with kids and pc noobs ?
101% of the people i know that use these crap programs
know nothing at all about pc's and the conversation
winds up beeing as interesting as watching paint dry.

thank you for all the links and it downloaded extremely fast. community
effort here. this is really a great progress in the right direction for
them. the dynamic backgrounds work really well too. still can't stand
the ads thou, will have to wait for the patch to come out then. anyone
polling on when the final will be out ?

I cant remove the sidebar, and if I install msg plus it dont show the conversation window!
what is the problem?
how to uninstall and reinstal fresh install?
