Maxthon is a multi-tabbed browser based on the IE core (IE5.x or above required). It can open multiple web pages within one browser window, and uses little system resources.

Maxthon has a greatly integrated & customizable interface which supports Skins, Plug-Ins, IE Extensions, & specific toolbars (example: GOOGLE
Toolbar).

Maxthon also incorporates 2 POPUP blockers (Auto POPUP blocker & a POPUP blocker list filter) and a Content Filter. The Content filter can be used to filter offensive pictures on a web page,
if desired.

"Combo" version Includes: Plugin: AI Roboform, FlashSave, ViewSource, EnableRightClick, Up a Directory, Weather. Skin: Default, Turbo Qute, Mozilla_2, Safari, TCPort, X_Phoenity.

* Fixed some drawing problem.
+ Print out error address and module name when Maxthon crashes
+ Added 'Do not show this dialog' option to turn off 'send crash report' dialog
+ Fixed several internal bugs.
+ Save more config when options dialog is closed.

Is it possible to install IE and at the same time install firefox in your PC?

Yes it is possible, I have them both running side by side because you may get the odd occasion when a web site might not me coded properly to look good in Firefox but this is quite rare these days, you will have to set one or the other as your default browser, so come on join in, get Firefox installed you won't regret it :o)

Listen up, Fx whores. If Maxthon is a shell over the IE engine, so is Firefox. Firefox is a shell over the Gecko engine. ALL browsers are shells on top of engines. Duh.

Maxthon and Fx and exactly equivalent when it comes to status.
