No firewall?

very hungry about PC resources
the pc always hanging up beside it is old 2005

Slow in every thing in scan and update

it is known that most of antispyware programs r system hog and eat system resourcs but i recommend Ad-Aware
and since it is now in beta stage i will wait for final release but now i use Avira Antivir Professional that eliminates viruses spywarse and adwares plus it is very light on resources fast in scanning.....it is German pro

Some other McAfee service (SiteAdvisor) , goes yellow for 9down (today or in past few days) , this is improvement 9down has been red till yesterday...

A hint for those installing Vista.
You must select use the recomended security and updates option(GREEN ONE) when first doing setup
OR The Antivirus and Malware Protection will not report to Windows that they are up to date and both working.
This is a VISTA FLAW as all AV's are doing this.
