personally i find mcafee enterprise better than kaspersky scanning. but i use kaspersky suite 6 coz of the firewall.
i mean mcafee has no other option other than using the desktop firewall (biggest piece if S.H.I.T) with this product.all other firewall give some error or other.
i wish they improve compatibility with other firewalls.
by the way for all u guys who hate mcafee .... i agree its other antivirus produts sux but the enterprise products are unparalelled in performance. try n c.

kaspersky had some problem with my system ( windows 2000 SP4, 256 mb ram, celeron 1300 mhz cpu ). After installing kaspersky my internet connection will keep on receiving some data inflow. it dont stops. if i uninstall kaspersky there is no data receiving. remember i am not downloading anything or updating kaspersky here. internet connection icon showing only data packets receiving continuously from somewhere but no data packets sending. wierd problem :(

In terms of Outpost 4, that is still beta. Was working with their tech. support this past week, and there are conflicts between it and McAfee Enterprise 8.0i. So it is best (their recommendation) to run the previous version of Outpost.
As to which anti virus program is the best, well I will leave that to the subjectivity of the users. There are independent and objective evaluations performed twice a year, and having the opportunity where we work with many thousands of pc's and servers, some av's work, and many do fail. The reality is, Enterprise 8.0i works very well, and the other reality is one needs more protection than just an av, much more protection.

Use ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite. Its better................... Got some problems but better than McAfee................

hi this is best i use mcafee virus scan 10.0 macafee anitspywarev2.0 mcafee personal firewall plusv 7.0 and mcafee quickclean v 6.0. this sufficient to protect computer. kaspersky' s licence expires every 3 months and filthy.

I think mcafee still the best, i use mcafee 8.0i and no virus ever been found again.
