Sorry my bad, since I use both Messengers on 2 different systems, there was a mixup :D

I found another bug in the patch. I cannot remove the MSN search bar from the bottom of the contact list. That setting is also forgotten if I run the patch again or save and re-load the settings.

This Patch is buggy, as reported on Mess be.'s web site. They are looking into releasing a new version.

Hold off until then.

Alternative method:

Start Mess Patch, choose 'Restore Previous Settings' -> 'Next' and checked 'Forget last used options'. Clicked 'Next' and then 'Okay'

Restart Mess Patch and patch as normal.

I was still unable to remove the search bar. This time it seems to actually remember that setting, and the contact list first appears without the search bar, but then after a few seconds the search bar appears. I ended up removing the search bar using the A-Patch and then using the Mess patch with CRC checking disabled to do the rest of the patching I wanted.

This Revised Patch works 100%. Thanks to the folks at Mess.be and the contributors. Live Messenger is fully patched. Gerat stuff!!
