Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview includes advancements in security and browsing experience for end users, functionality and compatibility for developers, and manageability for corporate network administrators. Beta 2 Preview is intended to enable developers, Web developers and IT pros to begin to test the new browser for compatibility with their applications and Web sites. Uninstallation
When installing it, you'll want to uninstall your previous IE7 builds. To uninstall an IE7 build:
Click "Start," and then click "Control Panel."
Click "Add or Remove Programs."
Check "Show Updates" at the top of the dialog box.
Scroll down the list to "Windows XP - Software Updates," select "Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview," and then click "Change/Remove."
If "Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview" does not exist, run %windir%$NtUninstallie7bet2p$spuninstspuninst.exe (where %windir% is your home Windows directory). You will need to have "view hidden folders" enabled.
In the rare circumstances where you cannot find that directory and IE7 is not listed in the Control Panel, IE7 setup automatically creates a system restore point before making any changes. Use System Restore to restore your computer back to your original install point. This is not 100% effective so please back up important documents prior to using System Restore.

Use Firefox or Opera or whatever, but not IE. It's about time Bill loses his grip on the market with copycat products that have MSN as their default search engine.

this thing keeps on crashing previous beta release was bit better but still it had problems i m going back to ie 6.0 for updates frm windows sites and fro rest browsing firefox 1.5 or mayb opera

I'm installed the 5296 and now when run the setup this massege shown : internet explorar 7 is already installed .plz use add or remove programs to uninstall it( make sure show updates is checked so that you'll see it) and then reinstall it again. I remove it but when run the setup again this masseg show again. Help me

Blaming hell! I know that everyone's computer's a complicated machine and the way we use our computer have different effects on them so when there's a problem there're usually more than one symptom but this one is really pissing me off.
Okay, I've been using the build before this one for a long time and everything's been working sweet I was loving it. Today after work I came on 9down and saw this update so I thought I might as well just try it.
Followed the instruction and uninstalled the previous build first, rebooted. Came back to install but it failed at 40% something saying "Error loading msfeeds.dll in System32 folder". Clicked okay on that warning popup then it continued to finish the installing process only to tell me that the installation was not completed.
Then followed numerous attempts of mine including many rebooting and seeking & following solutions from the net. Apparently, this msfeeds.dll problem is quite a common one but I just never got it the first time.
Listen to this it's more annoying - so I thought to myself "fair enough, I'll just go back to the previous build". AND IT WON'T LET ME!!! The same error came up and now I'm st uck with IE6.
I know IE is not the most adorable piece of application out there but for people like me using genuine Windows and appreciate the completeness of the computer I'm not ready to break the shell of Windows to get rid of IE yet. And there're just so many commands that have IE as default explorer now only changing the settings won't help (e.g. when you open your mailbox thru MSN mail notification).
Bummer what a waste of time
