I've downloaded this version on 05-05-2006 (MS-Release), and now i've some problems with this version. I cannot install this build, because the setup want a driver for my optical drive (!!!!!), but why??? Anyone have a clue what's going on??? ThX Gugo P.S.: Sorry for my english

i suggest you learn about torrents, it'll save you so much hassle waddya got against em? it'll be a while before someone hosts a +4GB file

the download is TOOOO SLOW Seeds: 8 Peers: 60 Max. Download speed: 13kb (I get 180kb on any other download :'( ) so what is the reason for that slow speed, is it from 9down.com !!

Just like all the other beta releases.  I can't get this one to upgrade my winxppro.  It gets like 70% through and then I get an error saying that the setup can't lay down images.  Anyone else get this?  What does it meen?

Beta programs are not for installing if you are depending on them. There is numerous things for screwing your system , but also for repairing it. One of them is XP build-in System restore or 3rd party back up progs. like Acronis true image.
For Vista is better to do a clean install on newly created partition then upgrade from XP , You can also hide partition that you depending on with some partition managers like Acronis partition expert or Norton Partition magic.

Best solution is to create virtual enviroment and install Vista on it. If you have "strong enough" PC with much of ram. Install VMware with experimental support for Vista then install Vista on it.

P.S. All programs above you can find on 9down , so search a little.

I've downloaded 64-bit version using BitComet 0.67. Files til *.r29 have been saved ok as "rar" files. From *.r30 til *.s03 and the "sfv" file have been completed but not saved as "rar" files. They remain displayed as uncompleted downloaded files (extensios *.r**). I've tried to delete the corrupted files and download them again without success. Any solution?
